  1. Having BE filters wrong wouldn't cause the server to not start, so there must be another issue.  If you're still having problems please post your server and client RPT files here either zipped or in a link to dropbox or something like it.  Might need to look at your mission file too, but let's see what the RPT comes up with first.  

    Will do, right now i have bigger issues, with my paradropping spawn and safe zones around trader cities causing people to be banned.

  2. yeah, if you go on armaholic, i saw some tacky looking mods that added lambos, bugattis, jeeps, and other fun stuff to the game. figured if i could run those mods and have their vehicles spawn in with loot and work like a regular a3 vehicle, it would add a tacky little amount of fun to the server, however, i havent gone through and checked to see if all of them have server keys. The a2 vehicles, i'd mostly just want the helis, because the a3 helis suck with the oversaturation of the DLC.

  3. So, first thing is first.... I know alot of you are gonna see this post and idea (despite how unoriginal it is) and walk off with it without answering my question, however, consider answering, any help i can get would be appreciated.

     

    Anyway, on to the idea. I saw this mod http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=26188(A2 Civilian Vehicle Redistribution Pack) which is basically like All In ArmA, but with just the vehicles and clothings of A2 Civs, and i figured "there's gotta be a way to run this mod on the server and have it spawn in A2 vehicles, clothing, and AI (for our overpoch players). So it's got me on a quest to find out if and how it could be done.

     

    So i posted here. Any ideas?

     

    I haven't the foggiest as to where to even begin when it comes down to spawning things in any other way than the admin tool.

     

    Comment below if you've got some ideas we could try out, and as always, be friendly. No one likes a douche or a troll.

  4. Keep in mind also that as the BE filters are updated that the line numbers may change.  You can still find where to make the additions by looking at the line prefix, i.e., "playableunits" or "exec".  They will always be present in the file, but they may appear on differing line numbers depending on the version of the filters.  

    i added the lines afterwards, and my server became unresponsive.

     

    No clue what i did wrong.

  5. Question. On your GitHub, it says

    I can't find this file anywhere... even serverside... where should i be looking?

  6. Question, I noticed this addon requires me to edit a file that's already in my mission folder. If i do a little copy-pasta over the thing will it effect any of the other addons i have? I guess something i already have in my server runs on the same file.

     

    Im looking right now and i see no difference between the two files. Is it the same for all of the halv mods? Or am i missing something small and just not seeing it?
