  1. Taking someones code/idea/concept/system and publishing it without contacting the original creator would already be theft.

If he is a real man he should have contacted me before publishing this code and ask me if I was ok with the fact that he wants to make an ArmA 3 version.

Instead he just takes my code, puts some silent credits at the bottom and takes the rest of the honor like he made the whole thing. That is just disgusting, disrespectful and low.

    Amen.

Did you, by your admission pretty much copy/paste the code from somewhere else?

This one looks quite similar to this one too: https://github.com/DayZMod/DayZ/blob/Development/SQF/Missions/dayz_1337.chernarus/rules.sqf

PS. The BE filter your using:

    7 "BIS_fnc_dynamicText" !"] call BIS_fnc_dynamicText;"

Allows any BIS_fnc_dynamicText to pass through

  2.

Your maths is wrong then :P they were banned by the admins for not following the

The avatars they were using made no difference, feel free to take it up with an admin if you have more questions you would like answered.

I was told, they were banned not because they broke the rules but because Axle felt some where being disrespectful and so he banned everyone even remotely associated with Exile!

So, now you dont even need to break any rules to get a ban. GG :D

  3. Not without knowing the key.  There's ways it could be put in "code" where it wasn't blatantly obvious that the files were watermarked at all.  You could create a key for each copy of the server files given out.  Say it goes like this.....  File abc.sqf, third line, 4th word, second character.  File xyz.sqf, 10th line, 2nd word, 8th character.  And so on until you have an email address or UID of the person the files were given to.  The only way to decipher the "code" would be to have the key which is kept by the devs only.  Otherwise it just looks like proper code because it is.  There would be nothing for anyone to remove, since by removing anything you break something that's needed to work, as all parts of the code itself are legit.  All that matters is the key.

You think the devs can do that lol. No offence to anyone but lets just look at how long this latest update is taking...

  4. One of the official servers leaked (sold) the files to them, CCG, and Cen.

Basically, everyone who does not give two shits about the development of the mod, but want to profit from it are involved.

CCG are not running the new version, i think you need to get your facts right.

  5. Didn't say they hate them. A majority are just annoyed by the clumsiness of accessing them. But of course it still exists because they can be relied on, it's not broken, it's just buggy.

On the note of reliability, that's a feature Epoch isn't trying to revolve around. Why? Because in a survival situation a guy you went to the other day, isn't going to have the same stuff with him daily. He has what's been given to him, or what he's always had until someone comes along and buy's it or shoots him. Epoch is revolving around Dynamics flow, and not main stream DayZ style gameplay like that of their previous iteration on Arma 2. Epoch 3 is better because it's never the same. Everything changes constantly. Of course though, one of the reasons people play Overpoch for example is because that is your crowd attracted to things that are handed to them. I walked by a 10 story base the other day, and that is an obvious "been handed to" example. Enough of that though. Point is, Overpoch is taking away ideal attention from the main development of Epoch. Whenever people here of Epoch, they think of CCG, which doesn't really have anything but Overpoch servers. Hell, I was surprised how fast they came out with Overpoch when Epoch was Available for Alpha testing. In fact, I think they had up Overpoch during the Make Arma Not War Competition.

If there is anyway to help Epoch become better than those taking the steam away from it's core game, I wouldn't mind finding tons of ways to help bring back most of that steam, and help make Epoch better in the long run. It's probably one of the only few mods I can deal with playing over Vanilla Arma 3 content.

I think you need to get your facts straight before barging in and saying shit...
