  1. MintyBadger thinks the shelves suck hippo bollocks...not secure. Even on a team people like to keep the gear that represents high priority equipment exclusively accessible to them...with sharing remaining an option and not explicitly obligatory.

    Also...maybe if we're placing items inside a building...maybe having them appear 20 ft in front of us isn't the most practical approach. I like to see where I'm placing something.

    The server I'm playing on (was, but now on PURE) was being run by a combination of masochism or language limitations...they either don't know how to modify server settings or don't want to. It's JP KongariBacon...log on and see what I mean.

    They claimed that the settings people are griping about cannot be changed and that they LIKED them how they are...I know the first part of that statement is categorically untrue.

    Played on PURE today. Faith in gaming community restored. As someone said earlier on this thread, servers managed in this way will die out and be replaced by people who actually know what they're doing.

  3. No. What I'd actually like is sappers that, if you guys are committed to keeping these guys as walking nukes, follow the laws of physics like everyone else in the game has to. I was upstairs in a locked base and one came upstairs and killed me.

    Minutes afterwards my HEMMT cargo was completely blown up by a guy with a 6.5...with less than a full mag. My truck exploded and I was killed. It's REALLY hard to make a car explode like that...no matter how many rounds you unload into it.

    What I'd like to know when the next update is expected and whether they plan to un-fuck the mod with it. Anyone who likes it the way it is now is probably too busy burning themselves with lit cigarettes and hooking their balls up to car batteries to notice how the mods have turned this "game" into punishment.

    The number of people who absolutely HATE this is way bigger than the handful of weirdos that do.

    In my opinion the last update changed a lot of stuff that introduced a whole host of new problems without fixing any of the old ones. Pretty typical but we can always hope the devs try playing this way before implementation...but I don't think they do. Sorry, playing on hardcore mode is no fun for me...I'm a veteran player but not one of the titanium-plated unkillable hard-asses.

  5. Instead of adding stuff to make the game harder (which at this point is quickly reaching overkill)...add stuff to make it more fun.

    Like:

    Faster ATM's or ATM's at the traders.

    Craftable Gliders...with gurnaaaade option.

    Base megaphones to blare horrible music until attackers retreat.

    Usable and placeable comfy chairs for bases.

    More durable cars for stunts and air.

    Missions with cash prizes or something other than guns (and no ammo).

    Beans. And the gas that gave away your position.

    For me, the code doesn't represent an "anti-camping" feature anyway. It just runs in a constant loop with some minor adjustments based on soiled/shots fired etc.

     

    No point in being a sniper anymore.

     

    As both an active player and PVP server admin, this has limited the playability of the game for me.

     

    There really should be the option to turn it down or remove it for PVP servers.

     

    It's disappointing the devs couldn't see this latest update being a potential problem.

    I understand that it's a problem with the server admin not changing the default settting to dial down the everything-on-ragequit-difficulty, but maybe that's just not a good option for a default setting. If people prefer getting gang-banged in torrential rains or missions that are near impossible with no significant loot...then let those guys adjust their server settings for maximum masochism.

Don't forget the constant rain, ladders that throw you off the top, AI with limitless ammo/meds/and bullets that swerve up and over rock walls and through trees and buildings, cars that explode and kill all occupants (which means your whole squad is either yelling at the driver or disconnecting), saving "too near" a wall killing you upon re logging, sappers that now follow up in buildings and up ladders and promptly vaporize you/the building/all your gear and kryto, AI that have dead-on accuracy over 600m with LMG'S/carbines/PDW's with frequent one-hit kills, AI with aimbot and ESP that can take 5+ center-mass hits and keep doling hits with no impaired aim or mobility, demolition explosives that fail to breach bases EVERY TIME, ununflyable mozzies, drones that spawn AI IMMEDIATELY after apprearing, and sappers that spawn one after another FOREVEVER.

    Did I miss anything? Don't get me wrong, I love this mod with the same obsessive mania that most players do...but WTF, devs??? You do WANT to people to play this mod don't you? Are we supposed to die to relentless bullshit every two minutes and never build a base?

    I know some of this stuff is server admin stuff (already posted on his forum too)...but cut us some slack. No one else I know will play this game for the reasons listed above...maybe try to balance the challenge a bit, huh?

    I can only speak for myself, but these new features are making me consider a move to another game, and my gaming buddies are saying the same since this latest update.

     

    I've said a thousand times that it's good to have the content as long as server owners can have total control over which content he or she wants activated. Toggle woggle.

    Seconded. Apologies if this is not the correct place for feedback from players, rather than server admins. I play on SE Asia servers and have been playing for about three weeks. The other guy I usually play with is probably going to walk away from this mod for the reasons stated above. Finding anyone in my region who speaks English is really difficult...replacing him and the others we've lost is gonna be really difficult.

    I hope the devs remember this game is priced to exclude the younger casual gamers (no offense intended) and a lot of the people who play this game are doing so with a short supply of hard-whard-won free time (families, jobs, blah blah blah) and making the game a constant, punishing ordeal of unrelenting rain, stacked antagonist spawns, AI with super ESP/AIMBOT/endless ammo and endless first-aid kits, sappers with even bigger exlosions, sappers with acid attacks that kill you even after you've killed them, ladders that throw you to your death, cars that either explode for no reason or too easily (crashed into a tree/bush), dying because you logged out "too close to a wall"...cut us some damn slack, man. I get that games should be challenging...I get tired of games that are too easy.

    Maybe instead of adding content and updates that make the game an infuriating time-suck which just kills you over and over again to the point where actually PLAYING just isn't an option...put some energy into fixing the problems instead of adding more. And remember to change the mod to make it more playable and FUN...cause right now it's neither of those things.

    How about something simple like ATM's in traders? I'm gonna get a shallacking from the Fundamentalist Fanboys...but gamers do other stuff besides play Arma 3...don't make that seem like a bad option.
