  1. Hey, Im just wondering, is there such way for making a script that would run from linux server and say something in server.

     

    I intend to do this for restarting cron job, so it would warn people.

     

    For example: I would set 4 different filed that says. Server restart in 1 hour, then server restart in 30 mins (second file), then serve restart in 15mins (3rd file) and finally in5 mins.

     

    So It would acess the server as admin with server password or something and would use command "say" or something lol idk.. :D 

     

    Cuz I setted up my cron job for restarter.pl, but I wonder if I can mke some more pl files or sm. Cheers for who answers! :>

  2. there is an error on the first one "cannot open file 'common\unifonts.pbo'", this file shoulve been included from "common" directory originally from "arma2oa" server. Check from ftp if there is such file, if not move it. THis might be the reason restarter doesnt work. but it says setting locale failled. So u need to set your locale settings in restarter.pl, but firs try to move the common folder from arma2oa.

     

    I dont know if Im right, just trying to help out.

  3. Hello. So basicly I created a server. and installed admin tool (on linux), everything was fine.

     

    But suddenly, a random AI appeard while testing the server. So i spawned myself a chopper and decided to look if its still spawning.

     

    I killed them all was arround 4 of them or more. And watched if it keeps spawning. 

     

    They kept spawning.

     

    Is it some kind of funcion that if there is low number of players, it spawns some AI? I saw a chopper flying past me, and then AI randomly got killed. If its such a function, can soemone tell me how to disable it?

  5. Hey, I just freshly isntalled dayz epoch arma 2 linux server.

    OS: Ubuntu 4.04. The server runs fine only steam errors (Ive reed that its not related). But when I try to connect to my own server (Witch is standing on vps), it get stuck on "wait for host" it doesnt even show that a user has connected.

     

    Help me. Im frustrated...
