[Locks and such...]

i hope the combo locks get beefed up from the arma 2 version they were froever getting cracked open. 

 

I tried cracking a combo lock before.. I tried writing down all the possible combinations (001, 002, 003, etc. etc.) and gave up somewhere around 500-600 mark.. I was there for 30 mins writing down the possible codes, only to say F*** this, I'll camp their base.. If someone 'cracked' your door codes or safe codes (even harder with the extra number) then they deserved whatever you had inside.. It takes patients, unless you get a lucky guess with a code lol

 

As for the locks, I'm really looking forward to them being in arma, hopefully they will come in the Halloween update at latest.

+1. I like knowing if I was seen or not, gives me time to get ready rather than sit in a house for 20 mins waiting on AI that are never going to come.. lol

[Can't join any epoch servers...]

Did he reinstall arma AFTER installing the mod? ArmA works fine, I was doing Patrol Ops last night, and apparently all files are valid.

 

After I wiped my PC I installed arma, then the mod. Did your friend install the mod and then Arma again?

EDIT:

 

Ignore the above, I've fixed it. I checked my Anti-virus's Firewall, I turned it off automatic and switched it onto the option that asks me if it can run certain programs. I used the launched to join the servers and it asked me to run epoch and Arma 3, I allowed and now I'm joining fine. :)

[Can't join any epoch servers...]

I'm having the same problem, except above the zeus icon on the main menu it doesn't say Epoch is active (it did when I first installed but now it's gone, I wiped PC afterwards) and I can't get it back onto the main menu. It's activated in my expansions and everything is grey'd out, so can't deactivate etc.

 

I've tried reinstalling the mod three times, un-installing it and verifying game cache for Arma 3. It's very frustrating as I've no idea what I done differently. I see video's telling me I need to move the files from the epoch launcher download to my arma 3 folder, but I didn't do that the fist time & it doesn't work either now that I've done that.

 

When I attempt to join games (99% are red/yellow dots) it keeps sending me back to multiplayer listings, if I get close to joining, I get the "Connection Failed" message, but that comes and goes. I've tried joining the servers that are official and they just send me back to the multiplayer menu without any message. 

 

Do I NEED to have DLC's such as Karts, Heli's & Marksman to play? All the servers are showing them as on the server but I don't have any.

Although, when I join a green dot (No DLC listed) I still have the same errors.. 

 

Any help here would be GREAT!
