[cannot load texture]

Yeah, it was a server side issue, i'm able to play now.

When you load can you hear a background sound? And if you use W-A-S-D on you keyboard do you hear your foot steps?

No, i can't hear any sort of background noise, and when i try wasd i don't hear footsteps.

 

It's not an error on the client side. It's the server. Ask the owner to do this change:

 

and it should remove those errors. 

I don't think thats the issue though because my friend was able to join the server no problem. Either way i'll try to contact him and see if he would try that for me.

Hello everyone, i started playing on an epoch server today and i got a pretty good start on my gear, and supplies to build a small house. The server was about to reset so i logged off and took a break. it was working perfectly fine with no bugs, but once i came back and tried logging into the server all i got was "cannot load texture ibr\ibr_hangars\ícons\icon5.paa" It started loading as it normally would but once it verified my character, and was trying to place me in the world, i get this error and if i hit continue i just get a black screen and nothing happens. 

 

The attached picture is all that i see after about 2-3 minutes of a black loading screen that says Dayz Epoch. After that, if i hit continue, nothing happens other than a blank black screen. i thought that it was loading but i let it sit for about 25 minutes on that screen, and nothing happened. 

 

Any idea what this is?
