    The waypoint marker has to be the most frustrating thing in the game. Is there any way to change the color from green to something that
     contrasts more with green grass ? red, orange purple, white, black ? I think many would agree that's its very difficult to see and alot of time is spent spinning around trying to find it as it fades into the terrain.

  3. Only Some Trader's Menus Appear

    Hi,

     

    I was wondering if someone here could help me.

     

    Lately only some of the traders  trading option appears. Other traders menus are non-existent.

     

    I've tried zooming in, I've tried verifying local files on Steam, I've tried disabling third party

    firewall and anti-malware.

     

    Does anyone know what I might have wrong on my end to cause this ? I don't think others are

    having the same problem and it's happening on more than 1 server.

  4. Steam: Have to Reacquire 1 File Every Time I play

    Hi,

     

    Does anyone have any idea why I have to verify local game cache on Steam for ArmaOA and reacquire 1 file every time i want to play, otherwise the lobby wont show up on the server I connect to, only the MOTD and the chat, otherwise says wait for host.

    Or does anyone know how I can tell which 1 file it keeps needing to reacquire ?

    It's annoying and takes a while to have to do each time.   I play arma2 dayz epoch (most recent version) on a user account. Win 7 64 bit. I've tried logging onto steam as admin. I've tried logging in with no 3rd party firewall.

     

    I suspect it may have something to do with Battleeye, because from time to time it says it cant connect to the main server (in a command window)

    I'm not having luck with Six or Commander, what Torrent client would you recommend ? I'm used to zip or rar files. I tried downloading one and it was teeming with spyware so I uninstalled it. I think it was called FreeTorrentViewer.

     

    Just curious though, why isn't it a zip or a more common file ?

    If anyone could help I'd greatly appreciate it. I have been trying to update to 1.0.4.1 and play the game ( I removed 1.0.4.2 since the server I play isnt using that yet) I first tried commander and it kept wanting me to play on my administrator account and didnt even show my nickname from my user account in the game.

     

    I don't use Commander now, I think that's what messed me up.  I'm trying  to install manually then launch with steam. I've tried uninstalling all the arma games from steam, reinstalling them, logging on as admin to verify cache, logging on and playing each one, deleting the @DayZ_Epoch folder, and installing the 1.4.0.1 there, verifying cache with my user account etc. I don't know what else to try.

     

    I'm also now getting a bad  cd key error when starting up the Arma2OA Beta to try to play (after the sauerland error)

     

    Anyone have any idea what I can do in files to get rid of the saeurland/chenarus error so I can log in ? I think the cd key error  I'll have to contact Bohemia about, its not rectifying itself now like it usually does on installs.
