I used to have DayZ.ST and tried and tried to get the sunset and sunrise times right. They lock it down with the hiveext.ini file. You can't get access to it, so you can either do their short day, full day or always day. Not much of a choice there.

Not sure where you added these. I've never had this issue with WAI.

I'm trying to modify the exchange rates for metals on the traders, but I'm having a little difficulty finding out where to do that.
Any help would be appreciated.

Followed those instructions :/ admin items spawned in still are exploding when I try and start them up. Worked fine with 1.0.3.1 :(
EDIT - Fixed it disregard.

So I switched from DayZ.ST to HFB, but I'm running into an issue that none of the dynamic vehicles are spawning on the map on start up. Does anyone that's running HFB know what to do?
Help is much appreciated.

If you don't know what an init.sqf is then you didn't set up the admin tools correctly. You would know what that is..

DayZ.ST isn't bad. I use them and don't really have any issues other than not being able to set the time specifically. My players don't have any lag issues at all.

Is there a timeout function for the evac helipad to eventually disappear? Or add a remove function as someone mentioned above?

Revert back to your defaults and install one thing at a time so you know what works and what doesn't. If you install something and it works and then install something else and it doesn't, then you know what broke it.

Does HFB not give you the ability to revert back to your default files?

I use DayZ.ST and honestly I haven't really had any issues other than not being able to modify the hiveext.ini file to change the time schedule, but I've uploaded a script that basically changes the time for me as a time skipper. I honestly don't have any other complaints about DayZ.ST.
To get stuff working on your server you've just gotta get out there on this forum and opendayz.net and start reading and asking questions. I've been running my server for about 3 weeks now and I had no prior knowledge.

Easiest way I resolve the locked vehicle/key missing problem is to delete the vehicle with the missing key and spawn them a new locked vehicle and give them the key.

I saw a video of someone who had the ability to see safe codes via an addon to the admin tools.
Does anyone know how to do this or has implemented it on their own servers? I'd imagine it would be much easier to have that rather than having to dig through the db to find them.
Any help is appreciated.

Thx for posting. Unfortunately that would require you to have access to the hiveext.ini file, which DayZ.ST doesn't allow :(

Thx Axe Cop! I'm definitely going to be trying it out on my server. I just wanted to make sure everything was finalized before I go ahead and make the leap! :) I've only had my server for about 10 days but you are a valuable contributor to the community and just want to thank you for that!
