PAL-18 Posted January 27, 2014 Report Share Posted January 27, 2014 Is DayZ Epoch compatible with Windows Server 2012 ? I ask because everytime i try running arma2oaserver.exe it just closes. WHA?! coulda been saving myself a ton of money... edit: aparantly you need 2008 r2 web if you want to run DNS and other roles other than web server. Wish I knew this before. I am tempted to move to Win 2008 R2 Web just because its cheaper but I'm not sure if the latest 2013 runtime etc will be supported. If you are you going to keep your server running for a while longer; then you should really consider buying a operating system and installing it yourself. Win 2008 r2 web and 2012 essentials etc are not that expensive considering its a one time fee and they are cheaper than other alternatives.
