Jfarr133 Posted December 26, 2013 Report Share Posted December 26, 2013 I'm trying to get on a epoch Namalsk server but when I'm loading into the server it just freezes at the loading screen almost into the game. Anyone have a fix or just any advise, thanks. You get to that screen, and you can even hear sounds. I could hear people talking in direct chat and footsteps. But never loaded into the game. Just switching to @namalsk breaks it completely. You can't even get to the lobby that way. Is there a special version of namalsk for epoch that should be downloaded that goes to a @namalsk folder? As I mentioned above dayz commander downloads it to @DayZ_Namalsk Second edit. I can also confirm that I am able to successfully launch standard dayz on the namalsk map. I've got the same exact problem, and I'm trying to join the Society server, but the problem persists when trying to join different Namalsk Epoch servers. Defent Posted December 28, 2013 Report Share Posted December 28, 2013 What I did was, I downloaded @namalsk island from PlayWithSix and moved that one in to the server folder and then also downloaded it for my client. After that, I just used the default start line in the bat file: "-mod=@namalsk;@DayZ_Epoch;@DayZ_Epoch_Server;" This works for me and I can use all traders etc. So if you want to join a server with this mod just use -mod=@Dayz_Epoch;@namalsk Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Defent Posted December 28, 2013 Report Share Posted December 28, 2013 True, I do not remember if I had zombies and other dayz related items/things on the version I use, will try it and report back. I will also try the prior version of namalsk dayz as I had the same problem mentioned here. Edit: Yea, works now - downgraded to the prior patch, thanks.
