New Server Can't Install

Hello,

 

I am new to dayz server hosting and I have a question. How in the world do I install Dayz Epoch onto a rented server that uses dayz control center!? Honestly I am confused and there is no real help on the subject. All responses that pertain to the situation and arn't hate will be greatly appreciated.

DayZ CCC doesn't support Epoch officially...

I know Bloody DayZ hosts were working on a custom one before they vanished - but other than that, I'm pretty sure there isn't a Control Center about.

If you find one, please do let me know, though :)

It depends if you mean a dedicated machine or not.

 

I dont have a dedicated machine but host with Vilayer

 

sofar they seem good and have not had any problems with them. I would stay away from dayz.st for now as they are having problems with stability with epoch

Dayz.ST: Too many servers per physical machine, lag lag lag

 

Vilayer: If it works they are not too bad but support is hit and miss. Sometime they help sometimes they hinder. Personally I find my server's FPS dropping more than i would like.

 

Dedicated: Costs are more, requires more experience setting up but u know exactly what resources you have and you have complete control over your server.

vert hosting has been good for us so far.

Vert allow access to ALL files? (for Custom mods, databases and scripts etc)

Vilayer allow full access to all files via their own control panel & ftp, but support is a joke depending on who you get & what time of the month it is........

@MALUK3N It seems so, we developed the current 1.0.1.4 patch using a server from vert so you can certainly customize it and have database access.

We use HFB and find the support is very responsive & helpful.

They have Epoch Chernarus & Epoch Tavania available for mod installs as well.

Full access to SQL, FTP & control panel
