Flashlights not working

Hello,

I've started a new DayZ Epoch server recently. I wanted to make it 24-hour day/night cycle, so playing in darkness would play a huge role in it. However, flashlights don't seem to do anything on the server. I've checked every solution I could find on google but found out nothing. I remove the flashlight from my toolbelt so it goes into the pistol slot, but that's where its functionality ends. I press F unless I get to the flashlight, and then smash L button, but it doesn't do anything, it's still dark.

Is there anything about the flashlights that I'm missing? Have they been disabled by the devs or something?

What's your HiveExt date/time config? Maybe that makes a difference? Flashlights on my server don't even start. I remember there was one guest who managed to turn it on somehow but I can't figure out how and he doesnt play on my server anymore. It doesnt make any sense.

No difference, I change the time with infistar.

just equip the lamp in your hands and press the L key
