I dont want the complete Unsung Vietnam Mod, just some vehicles. My hope was to add the pbo files for that vehicles and get/make new bisigns for epoch ....... as I say, I have no clue about bisigns. They looks very similar for me, i.e.

Damnrelentless mean we could make a auto downloader or launcher for the server. Thats one way. On the other side, you know I give a sh.. of foreign players, I play with friends and well known guys. Foreign players dont stay longer than 5 minutes on our server ..... mostly till they die the first time. No tanks, no jets, not militarized, no fuc.... startmoney, no basekit, just nothing. You want some? Work your ass off ........ thats our credo.

Our server has one goal ,,,,,,,, to kill you and take all your goods ....... just the fittest of the fittest survive ....... esspecialy that one who team up with other players. Average survive time is lesser than 10 minutes for new players if they dont ask for help and info.

@Anhor Well if its just a server for you and you mates have a play around with the pbo's and the bisigns.
dig through the pbo and find which ones hold the vehicles you want and copy the pbo and bisigns over. Dont forget to add them to the mission.sqm aswell.

For a bit of fun ill have a crack at it too and let you know how i go.

Also if you want them to spawn, you should add them to the dynamic vehicle array and adjust their spawn rates.

I signed all my pbos, why i dont know lol My server is whitelisted, so really i could of just turned off verify signatures.. but I started and figured id finish.

Really the only reason you would sign them, is if you make the server public. But anyone joining your server without the mod, will see players flying in invisible helis or vehicles and they will get errors...My way to make sure that didnt happen was whitelisting it and making sure the players downloaded my mod pack.

I also have a custom BAT file for players to connect to it, because DayZlauncher will not show your server with a "custom" mod pack

and like oldmatechoc said, I looked through pbos and only took what i wanted for my server. For example the Gaus Rifle from Namalsk.  and i only grabbed the pbos that were needed.

I will say this, my mod pack is 4.5gb  and it took me more than a year to build it (on and off) then added to it. Everyone has diff taste in servers, we we're looking for something just ridiculous and to have a good laugh and LOTS of booms lol. Hence another reason its whitelisted..

Ok mates, enough joking ....... where do I put the pbo´s? In the AddOns folder in the root? Or better in the addons folder in the @lingor directory?

you can create a new folder. for example @Customs\Addons\  (in the root of your server)

then in your launcher bat. add the lines in red.

Ok, so the BAT file is the same like my command line?

After that I must find a way to message players who join they must download some files. Space for that is no problem ...... we lay it on our website.

yup, with .bat file i mean the one by default that epoch give you to start your server.(DayZ_Epoch_instance_16_panthera.bat)

  in other words your server launcher.

Notice that youre using a diferent launcher.. so made the changes on it.

this is the line that youre looking for add mods.

"-mod= @DayzEpochPanthera;@DayZ_Epoch;@DayZ_Epoch_Server"

so this line must be now:

"-mod= @DayzEpochPanthera;@DayZ_Epoch;@DayZ_Epoch_Server;@Customs"

if u add more @folders then:

"-mod= @DayzEpochPanthera;@DayZ_Epoch;@DayZ_Epoch_Server;@Custom;@nameOfTheotherFolder"

 

and you as player must have activated this new addons in your game.

@Anhor And just to inform you a little bit more. A .bat file or also called batch file is used to execute single lines or whole blocks of code that are usually typed in the windows cmd/ the command prompt (it's this black box from windows :D). It's used to automate processes like renaming all files from a folder with the same file extension. :)

Make sure your PATHS to ARMA 2 OA and Steam are correct... those are my paths

Also the port and IP need to be yours.

The mod line is crucial for your custom mod pack. Basically follow @juandayz instructions for the client
set MODS=@Dayz_Overwatch;@DayZ_Epoch1061;@custommod

Once you double click that, it will launch you straight into the server.

everytime i read about .bat files..  can not stop remembering the old dear MS-DOS.

the ARJ and his longest lines of command to compress.. cannot remember the codes.. just the DOS basics dir/p   Undelete  deltree..:sad::sad::wub:

yes this was a problem i encountered. Each PBO you want, it has a config.cpp. At the top of the config.cpp, it will tell you what addon that pbo is dependable on

So for example the gaus rifle also needed a core namalsk pbo, called nsdayz, and if its not shown in the config.cpp then it will throw an error on startup saying you are missing certain addons...

Dont think that works. It´s not a client side problem, it´s a server problem.

Serverside is a addon folder who holds all the pbo´s from the client arma folder.

      Well i took the @raymix suggestion and add his random locations. also i added a "Who lies here?" option.
       
       
      This Remove dead bodys and drops all dead players in a random  cemetarys.
      Death bodys spawns as a CrossHelmet with a crate with all his items (a merge with bury corpses)  and if ure using coins youre be able to "check wallet" on the dead crate.
      You just need Define a pos for the cemetary. (Must be a Big place to prevent issues.)
      Anyway i choose one pos for you.. in Kumyrna Town  but you can change it and add a marker.
      Take care with the mark body option in configvariables. dsnt needed since thers no body..  and the ooption in ESSV3 spawn in body.
