Vanilla DayZ Fortifications, Cant upgrade

I am able to build the foundation for the DayZ 1.8.8 Fortifications (Gate, Fence) however I cannot upgrade them. I dont get the option to upgrade even though I have the required materials in my inventory, while I still get the option to dissasemble.

This is on a server that is running DayZ epoch 1.0.6

All dayz 1.8.8 fortifications are uncomment for epoch 1.0.6 due to several bugs and low fps problems. You cant get normally that gates and fences only if you add the books for them to your loot tables or you spawn the items by an admin tool.

To answer you question at all, you cant upgrade your gates and fences right now and I'm not sure you are able to upgrade them in the future.
