Server Hacked

Hello,

Im having some issues with my database being wiped. We are a pretty active community is there a fix for this? What do you recemend? Every few days it seems like the rediserver dump file will be wiped and all players bases and money will be gone. We do hourly backups so we can always restore it but its getting annoying. Should i go about changing the redis database password i thought it was localhost? Any suggestions would help.

lol creative this IS the arma 3 section haha its ok you are pardoned 

As for the OP, if you suspect for any reason someone might have your database password, change it right away.

I would start by checking the logs. Cant remember if arma 3 has a hive log like arma 2 does, but it must log something for the database

other than that I havnt played with arma 3 long enough to be able to help you any further. GL

Change your password in redis.conf and epochserver.ini (make sure they match). Localhost means it is running on 127.0.0.1

Nah Creativv, one of the moderators moved it. It was originally in the A2 section
