Method: 307 Params "PASS"

supavog

Question

Hello,

I'm setting up a new server and I've gotten to the point where the database and server is setup and running and I've logged into Arma 2 OA and added a new server by clicking Remote and typing in 127.0.0.1.  After attempting to Join, I see that the HiveExt console keeps showing

Method: 307 Params:

Result: ["PASS", [2015,7,7,15,46]]

I THINK this is a good thing but it's been doing this for over an hour now.  This is my first attempt to log in so I'm thinking it just takes a while to initialize or something but I was hoping someone could explain what is happening during this process and if this is normal behavior.

ArmA2OAServer.RPT shows the following happening over and over:

14:00:02 "RUNNING EVENT: crash_spawner on [2015,7,7,15,0]"
14:04:03 "TIME SYNC: Local Time set to [2013,8,3,15,4]"
14:09:03 "TIME SYNC: Local Time set to [2013,8,3,15,9]"
14:14:03 "TIME SYNC: Local Time set to [2013,8,3,15,14]"
14:15:03 "RUNNING EVENT: supply_drop on [2015,7,7,15,15]"
14:19:03 "TIME SYNC: Local Time set to [2013,8,3,15,19]"
14:24:03 "TIME SYNC: Local Time set to [2013,8,3,15,24]"
14:29:03 "TIME SYNC: Local Time set to [2013,8,3,15,29]"
14:30:04 "RUNNING EVENT: crash_spawner on [2015,7,7,15,30]"
14:34:03 "TIME SYNC: Local Time set to [2013,8,3,15,34]"
14:39:03 "TIME SYNC: Local Time set to [2013,8,3,15,39]"
14:44:03 "TIME SYNC: Local Time set to [2013,8,3,15,44]"
14:49:03 "TIME SYNC: Local Time set to [2013,8,3,15,49]"

Any feedback is appreciated.  Thanks!

*EDIT* Ok so I guess the method 307 messages are just the game spawning events and stuff, right?  It looks like my real issue is getting stuck at this screen when attempting to join my own server.

Also I'm not entirely sure what's needed to get it to register with Day Z Launcher either.  At the moment, I'm getting this far by loading up Arma 2 OA, the clicking Multiplayer > Remote.  Set IP to 127.0.0.1 which brings up my server, then click Join.  That's when the screen attempts to load but gets stuck at the end there.

that is the log off mysql. Those are good. When the servers running it makes a bunch of updates to the mysql database. Mysql logs everything it dose and those are the logs you see.

Thanks Namindu, that's a relief.  At least that part is OK.

You need to port forward the port of the server and you our external IP (Go to Google, type "Whats My IP". The number should be in bold), if you want others to join. The server also needs to be online long enough for dayz commander to update it into the cache list. Around 20min to a day.

Also did you modify any code? and upload your rtp. Use spoiler tag or pastebin.com.

No modified code.  Actually I seem to be up now but I keep getting these annoying ntdll.dll errors.

Thanks again, Namindu!

OK now that I have that hurdle cleared, I'm now getting 'Authentication Timeout'... It looks like the server is running and I can't find any errors anywhere so I'm stumped.  I tried re-installing battleye but to no avail.  This happens when I log into my server from Arma2OA launched from Steam.  I can get in and somewhat play for a few minutes until I get the error and am booted back out again.  I do see one thing that's concerning.  When logging in, on the bottom left, I see "BattlEye Client: Server requiring Client version 1.232.  Up-to-date." but it's in red instead of green which seems weird.  If I log in as a player and not an 'admin', I get Requesting Authentication at the splashscreen and it just sticks there.  Meanwhile, 307 Params: continues to spawn stuff on in the hive log so I know the server is running.  Is there something I'm missing somewhere?

Lol OK so I think I've finally gotten it working today; however, now when I log in, I'm a zombie instead of a surivor... Man so many hurdles.   Any ideas on how/why that's happening and where I change the initial user loadout settings?
