Wait for Host Epoch Namalsk

Question

This is my first time ever setting up a DayZ server.

I have followed every step of the 70 step tutorial, however instead I used the namalsk instance, and I have batch file load the mod @NC (Namalsk Crisis), The server loads up, however when i connect to it, I just get a message which says waiting for host and nothing happens.

 

There are no errors at all in the RPT file. Here is the RPT:

Should be

 

template = "DayZ_Epoch_15.namalsk";

I have corrected this, and now when I connect the client loads the server but it hangs up on "Server Responded, Creating Character"

I have checked the RPT file and it is now hundreds of thousands of lines long.

I have included the top of the RPT file (too big for pastebin) the errors all look very similar and continue on for over 250k lines.

Are you using the stock 1.0.5.1 server/client files and mission file or have you edited them?

Check versions on those files

I just reverted to the default/stock 1.0.5.1 files and now the server just says "Requesting Authentication" "Retrying Authentication" then it goes right back to the lobby.

There are some errors, this is the complete RPT from when I started the server, to when I logged in and got kicked to the lobby, then shut down the server.

The problem is you have the wrong server side mod, you need Namalsk 0.75. This should be your startup

-mod=@Namalsk;@DayZ_Epoch;@DayZ_Epoch_Server

I would suggest downloading it from DayZ Launcher directly to your server

I tried this and all it does is spam the log file with errors. What else do I need to do server side to get Namalsk working? What mission do I use?

I remember reading somewhere that Epoch 1.0.5.1 is not compatible with Namalsk 0.75 and I need a version of Namalsk that is earlier than 0.75

If using dayzlauncher you need the namalsk at the bottom of the list NOT the first one...both named the same and both listed as 0.75 first seems to be for dayz maybe the NC one. i;m guessing as smaller.. the one your need for epoch seems to be the other one.. least was for me:)
