Thanks Richie, i wasn't aware of that. Also seems like BEC V 1.608 (from the site) is the last version and not the one I posted.

No worries :)

plugins anyone ?

Well I've had nothing but problems with BEC and arma 3 epoch.. For reference I have it working with Arma2 Epoch.

What I have tried so far. You might have better luck.

Set your battleyepath in epochserver.ini.

Example:

BattlEyePath = E:\Arma-stuff\Battleye

Set your InstanceID

Example: InstanceID = SC

Once you have that setup.

Insure you have copied every last BE file to this directory, you will also need a "BEserver.cfg" and the battleye server.dll from battleye. Not sure if the client.dll is needed, but I include it anyway. You will need to make sure that your "Password" in server.ini matches your "RConPassword" in BEserver.cfg.

Setup a "sc".cfg in your BEC\Config folder.

I sugest copying a current cfg and renameing it.

In your "sc.cfg" you need to modify the BEpath.

With my A2 epoch server my BEpaths all match.

You may also need to modify "ServerExeName" it should be arma3server.exe unless you have renamed the a3server.exe.

With these settings I can't get BEC to work, maybe some one can help.

I knoticed this doesn't work with BEC on A3 epoch.. Remeber I have BEC working with A2epoch.

Should battleyepath in epochserver.ini be "bepath" per the arma 3 startup parameters?

https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3_Startup_Parameters

Side note, I have not been able to get any battleye working unless I supply "-bepath=" in my startup batch file.

Another thing, I noticed that renaming the battleye directory in the epoch folder, breaks battleye even tho I don't have that folder referenced in any of the configs..

I was able to fix my BEC problem by adding --dsc

Example:

start bec.exe -f sc.cfg --dsc
