Easy Kill feed/messages w/study & bury body function (Beta)

Can sombody tell me the positions of this display methods?

look at the picture, it will explain what is what ... disregard that it says false, if you want it to show, it will need to be true

Any chance you can make it so you can have more then just one defult message on study body, and it picks one of them ramdomly. Have change my to this

Hi !

 

I have a little problem with this script...

Inserted it definitely correct, activated "only" dynamic text in settings.sqf and setted bury and studybody to false.

So if i start the server and kill myself, the rpt gets spammed like this:

it looks like the loop is starting over and over, what exactly did you do when you installed this?

ive installed it 2 times ;)

in my init.sqf i have 2 parts: if(isServer) and if(!isDedicated && hasInterface), after that parts i execVM the script. Perhaps that is the reason, because in your script init are also both querys?

idk what you did wrong, but you most have done something.

however, you arent exactly overwhelming me with information here, so its kinda hard to figure out where you messed it up.

 

you could try show me your init.sqf ...

Ok i figured it out...

For those who have this problem also with rpt spam of: WARNING: Function 'name' - "Playername" is dead

 

If you have in your init.sqf some querys like "isServer" or "isDedicated" you should put in the execVM line of this script like this:

if(!isDedicated && hasInterface) then {execVM "addons\messages\init.sqf"};

If you put this "after" everything at the bottom you get the rpt spam. :)

Hi all,

First of all I wanna to congratulate Halv because this killfeed is awsome, but... since last Epoch update, everytime I study a body, it appears the message: "This body is unrecognizable ...". Maybe any variable has changed and now didn't work?

I would be very grateful if you can take a look to this.

Hey Halv,

Bug found by my research team.

Thanks to Razor for his reproducing the exploit in game over and over and over LOLS

If dead player stays in body during counter, the killer or group buddy can continue to bury body over and over and over to produce the persons items over and over.

If I remove this from the code can I turn this off?

 

I'm having a similar problem, wherein people are able to loot an infinite number of items from corpses. Item goes to the player's inventory, but also stays in corpse inventory. So they can keep taking the items over and over and etc. However, if a person dies, disconnects, and then re-spawns, this doesn't happen.

I have the bury body and study body options disabled in the config if this makes a difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

first off, that bug was fixed quite a while back.

the bug you are talking about could not possibly have anything to do with this script if you disabled bury and study body functions.

Scripts.log getting spammed with this...

im sorry, but i dont have the time to support be filters ...

besides that, i am sorry to say that i will not be updating this in the near future ...

that dosnt necessarily mean that it will stop working right away so you wont be able to use it, however if it does stop working in a future update of epoch, chances are i will not have the time to fix it.

i have not been playing or doing anything for arma in quite some time now ... but who knows, maybe i will return sometime. ;)

.rpt file is a string "[KillFeed]: Server waiting for EPOCH_deadPlayer_PVS", but the file EPOCH_deadPlayer_PVS is now unavailable.
Check: @epochhive \ addons \ a3_epoch_server \ init \ server_publicEH.sqf

Yes im getting the same issue and i have went into  @epochhive \ addons \ a3_epoch_server \ init \ server_publicEH.sqf  and removed the // from infront of the code >>>>> EPOCH_deadPlayer_PVS , rpt does show  Server waiting for EPOCH_deadPlayer_PVS  but to no end does it work
