SantaKlau
Hey guys, we got an problem on a Server where i play on. The Problem is, that a player who wants to play on the Server is not saved in the Database. He can join the Server and play, but if he log out all his stuff is deleted. And if he found an car, he cant open it or interact with it, if it is open already. The other thing is, if he is taking a gun from the ground and put it back on the ground, so anyone else could use it, it disappear. Only for the player who dropped that weapon it is visible. What can that be? The stuff we have tried at the moment now is: Install Arma 3 with CD --- Nothing changed. Install Arma 3 with Steam --- Nothing changed. Repair Arma 3 over steam, with both install variants --- Nothing changed. EDIT: Sry for the bad english.
Nic
You probably need to check your configs and make sure the database information is correct.
SantaKlau
The problem is, the player isnt in the Database. We tried to find his UID from Arma 3, but we cant find this in the Database. Thats the problem. We dont know how we could help him that it will work for him. Is there maybe a Problem with different User Profiles from Arma 3? Because sometimes he log in with the Name "Rumpelstielzchen", and sometimes he took the Name "Spoony". But with different profiles in the Arma 3 configuration.
Nic
I meant that you need to make sure your Epoch configs have the correct password for the DB, so the data can be written to it.
Richie
Install Arma 3 with CD --- Nothing changed. ArmA 3 isn't available on disc, are you sure it's not ArmA 2 / OA you're talking about ?
nedfox
The problem describes ONE player, not every player. You wont find the ID in the database, since you connect with a GUID, while the database saves your player ID. Best way is to actually go through the player records (not playerS) and try to find his playername.
