How to switch from altis to cherno in 2.5.2

So I'm running 2.5.2 Altis running just fine and i would like to switch my map to cherno what i need to do

Repeat the steps you did in setting up Altis, swap the mission in the config.cfg file so it loads Chernarus, then delete your old DB

Ok is the AiA required or optional, and do i have to add it the launch line

AiA is required, you can get away with the lite version on the server, but clients should use the full version.

You also have to add to the launch paramenters, I use :

-mod=@Epoch;@EpochHive;@allinarmaterrainpack;@ASM

if you use the @allinarmaterrainpacklite   is that what needs to go in the start.bat    ?

 

That's what I have and I have the newest version on my pc,  when I try to connect I get an error that I'm missing

aia.chernarus.config   but I can't find any information on that file anywhere

yes you need to include the AIA mod, either full or light (server) , it has to match foldername

I don't know anything about AiA mod   I just put in the AiA terrain pack lite.

ok, I'll assume "you don't know anything" then.

 

The server batchfile part mentioning the mods is a string of @modnames, devided by semicolons. the actual string is *exactly* the FOLDER name of the mod you extracted.

So let's assume you downloaded AIA lite, and it contained a folder "@allinarmaterrainpacklite" which you unpacked to the arma3 folder, then THAT'S the name you need to put in the commandline.

 

If the folder is named differently (like AIApack in my case) you need to add @AIApack to the commandline.
