VEMF - Vampire's Epoch Mission Framework

I feel that Vampire chose the radio broadcast route since there were already Markers missions created by Kilo.

EDIT: I also feel that Epoch/AntiHacks stopping local and global markers also influenced his decision to go the radio route.

 

Plus the dynamic town mission that is currently included is a single mission that he is providing as an example of what his Framework will eventually provide to us in the community.

 

So far I can tell you that with just his framework you can make yourself an entire Random AI missions and patrols and a lot more very easily. Give it a little more time and you will start to see the bigger picture here!

 

I think he would agree with my statements here...

If you get the Zasleh1_proxy.p3d error when a mission spawns in, can you check to see if there is an M4 on the AI that spawned in?

A bit late chiming in, but installed and working great. No conflicts with other scripts that I can see. My players love the AI and are eagerly anticipating the new mission types.

 

On a side note, someone got wrecked because they weren't aware these AI would flank..

Vamp.. I accidentally clicked the Fork button in GitHub :P anyhow awesome work :) and yea my SO also didnt pack your mission right the first time :) so i gotta re add the mission stuff to the mission pbo :) also your welcome to pay a visit to my server as well anytime :) hehe "Ravens Loft" is the server not sure if i can post my servers name?.. but yes, will get them missing files put up and maybe see yea in later :)

thank you for the very nice Script ;-)

 

We all love it on our Server.

 

The only thing we need is a marker or so. Can anyone make a briefing message ?

Love the script, works great and the AI are so nasty.

 

Is there any way to call them on a position at server start? I'd like to use this AI to fortify a few areas.

 

Also I take it the crate is going to get fleshed out more?

same for me you should enable System chat ( number 6) in your Descriptions.ext file inside the mission :)

Sharkking posted something interesting in the SEM thread about mission notifications and I'm going to adapt it for VEMF and test it out.  If it works well I think it would be a good option for VEMF to help the mission start be less obscure to players.  See his post for an example.  Will let you know how it turns out in a couple hours.

Did a bit more testing.. I reported earlier that I felt @mas was causing my crashing issues. After a full run and reports back from my admins I had some crashes that would could start with the first mission or up to about 6 "invasions"

 

[email protected] activated. Took out the error:bone & warning no mags segments because post was too long.

 Quick update. Ive been itching to try a Bornholm map so I threw one up on my test server. I have @mas, IGILoad, LootSpawner, SEM missions, and VEMF running smooth. A little difference in the server RPT.

 

On Chernarus I was getting:  "Protocol bin\config.bin/RadioProtocolGRE/: Missing word Gorka(or whichever city name)" & "Join to another group" with every "invasion" spawn until one mission would eventually crash the server.

 

On Bornholm I get none of these errors/notices.

Maybe something goofy in the AIATerrain pack ?

 

Got to admit.. Bornholm is growing on me LoL

      A3_vemf_Re_reloaded
      Vemf_reloaded was originally made by IT07 and last commit on vemf_reloaded was in 2017....
      I really like this mission script, but in my opinion it was missing some essential features compared to other mission systems.
      So I decided to add and fix some of the stuff for vemf.
      Check the Changelog for fixes and new stuff.

      All credit goes to IT07 for coding this and also a big THANK YOU to Ghostrider [GRG] for helping and always being helpfull when needed :-)

      This includes adding a few missions from EMS 0.3 by Fuchs:
       
      Updates:
      1. Added a variable in DZMSConfig.sqf to enable the AI to have money in their wallets if ZSC is installed.
      //If you have ZSC installed then you can set this to true to place money in ai wallets. DZMSAICheckWallet = false; 2. Added the Overwatch weapons to the AI and Crate configs.
      3. Expanded the selection of gear and vehicles available to the missions, AI config, and crate spawns.
      4. Created additional crate spawning options.
      5. Changed "UH60Wreck_DZ" to "UH60_ARMY_Wreck_burned_DZ" in minor mission SM4 because of "Cannot create non-ai vehicle UH60Wreck_DZ" error.

      ARMA3 DayZ Mission System (DZMS)
      This is a purely derivative port of the DayZ Mission System to ARMA3/Epoch. I have added functionality where appropriate (equipping uniforms for example) and stripped and replaced ARMA2 or DayZ/Epoch specific code in this implementation.
      The DayZ Mission System is a very good, lightweight and modular mission system.

      Are you tired of those perfect drivers who never have to repair their vehicles?
      Are you tired of the unrealistic effects of vehicles not wearing down with use?

      Well then I have a script for you!
       
      What is it?
      This script allows you to configure vehicles to take damage over time while they are in use.
      You set an amount of time a player must be driving and an amount of damage to give to the vehicle for them driving that amount.
      You can also configure the locations to damage the vehicle, the type of vehicle, how far they have to have moved in the time limit, and more!
