Over the last couple of days, I have been attempting to create my own DayZ Epoch 1.0.5.1 server without any added scripts by following a tutorial video (
). When I start the game and connect to my server, it gets stuck on "waiting for server to start authentication." I am inexperienced, but I have been trying to look for solutions on the internet to my problem but I haven't found any that worked. I really can't figure out how to fix the problem; I am using the latest version of DayZ epoch (1.0.5.1) and the latest Arma II OA version (125548), and I am putting everything where it is supposed to go. I haven't edited any .pbo files or tried adding custom scripts or anything. Also, I can connect to other servers just fine without any problems.
I am using Windows 8.1 64-bit if it matters, and my DayZ Epoch server folder is just on my desktop

I noticed that a dayz_server.pbo doesn't even exist within any of the server or client files for DayZ or DayZ Epoch that I downloaded, but I don't know if it isn't supposed to be there anymore due to an update or if there is some other sort of problem.

HiveExt.ini
-Completely removed DayZ and DayZ Epoch and re-installed them (downloaded from epochmod.com)
-Verified the game cache for Arma II and Arma II OA
-Deleted everything and started over again
-Tried connecting to my server through Arma II OA rather than DayZ Commander
Any help would be greatly appreciated
