BlackScreens on loggin >1.0.2.2

Hi there,

 

Since Epoch version 1.0.2.2 players are complaining about an +40 seconds "Waiting for character to create" and than end with a black screen. But they are able to read the side chat.

 

In the logging of the server this error pops up every time a player experiences this: "[Error] Error executing |CHILD:103:32371654:any:2:|"

 

Anyone else has this problem?

These problems are also on 1.0.2.3. From 1.0.2.2 till now I have this issue.

Is this as the first player joins the server ?

 

If so, is standard as it takes a bit for the hive to fire up..

 

If not, provide some more info please..

Thank you for your reply. Most players are able to join the first time. If they then relog, they get stuck at waiting for character to create and then a black screen. If I review the logging, the only error I see is  "[Error] Error executing |CHILD:103:32371654:any:2:|".

Confirming I am also getting this bug on my server since the last two patches.

BE enabled, max ping at 250

The problem is resolved on my server. Had to remove the REsec line from my init.sqf. Antihack was not to happy with that line being present.

this seems to help a little bit.  I am still getting black screens after this though.
