1.STEAM libraries are now part of package

2. steam_appid.txt is part of archive

3. glibc 2.15 or newer needed (was 2.16 in

previous server build, older isn't possible due to steamlib dependency)

4.some little irks related to nix libraries

That's one month old.

 

Did you get around this messages...:

[s_API FAIL] SteamAPI_Init() failed; SteamAPI_IsSteamRunning() failed.
[s_API FAIL] SteamAPI_Init() failed; unable to locate a running instance of Steam, or a local steamclient.so.

 

...anybody is complaining about in the second link you've posted. I get the same errors.

i found no infos regarding 126652 in this forum.
so i posted it

My install script already supports this version with slightly adjusted configs. You do not need to care about SteamAPI_Init() errors.
