Authentication Timeout Problem

I am trying to make a personal Napf server on my personal confuser (PC). So I can make some Napf map features, and test AI configurations.

I enjoy releasing them to all at the Epoch forums. But I need this as a test bed on my PC. Over all it just makes more since to test locally.

 

Server starts and I join remotely to lobby, when I OK in it all seems to be normal, till it gets to the Character Authentication.

Then I get the "Authentication Timeout".

However I have gotten as far as the Character Selection, select a female then I get the "Authentication Timeout", issue.

I join again and I get into the game run around as a male (not my selection) and it happens again "Authentication Timeout".

 

My report logs are to big for the forums so I made them public in dump box.

Dropbox is going to want you to download the files, sorry for this...I am not a troll, nor would do malicious foolishness.

 

Please any help would be greatly appreciated...I have looked through them and I am not sure what is causing the issue.

Make sure that Arma client and arma server are running the newest beta

 

remove the Expansion\beta part in the startup bat for the server

Meaning the start .bat "DayZ_Epoch_instance_24_Napf.bat"?

yep the whole orange thing, and if you got your arma 2 updated it should work otherwise you need to verify your gamedata

if you have tv i could help you i run a few gaming servers i will just copy my set up and put your port's if that helps :)

yes take out Expansion\beta\

 

and add this to your server.cfg  line 28 save it and should be good to go

Oh I had this problem LOADS of times, nearly every time I fixed it there was a code wrong, a missed commer or }; somewhere.

I'll have a lil look at the logs when I get 2 seconds try narrow down your issue

hiya please let me know if in wrong place i want to change the texture of large wooden walls but i dont know where to fin the files to edit it please can anyone helpt hanks
