I have this issue where my admins can give coins to other players, but the players themselves are unable to give coins to one another. It shows up as "You can only give coins to player" when a normal player attempts to give coins. Any fix for this? I'm thinking it might be the antihack(infistar), but I have no idea what is the cause.

For help on the Player Morality thingy, I did something sorta complex but it works. 

-I did a dump of my current DB

-Opened up the new SQL dump file and looked for the line that starts with INSERT INTO `player_data` and copied the WHOLE LINE.

(paste this line into a new document so it's easier to work with)

-do a Find for

,0) 

and do the replace for 

( yes I know it's just a closing parenthesis)

not where it says

 

INSERT INTO `player_data` 

 change it into

INSERT INTO `banking_data`

now your line of code should be in the format of 

INSERT INTO `banking_data` VALUES ('76561197961077317','NotTheBandit',2586),('76561197968096448','thurman619',54514),etc.etc.etc.

where it is now formatted as (`playerID`,`Playername`,morality/banksaldo)

Run that line of code as a query in your DB and it will insert them into your Banking Data so players don't loose what they had in their bank :D

how do i do this in phpmyadmin so i can fix the bank balance from resetting on players

Hi,

 

Im having an issue with the souls hive dll

Most of my players have bank data but some of them dont , seems no bank account data is created when they first log in and the rest of the player information is created.

 

Can't pinpoint exactly what is going wrong because some players get the bank account created the first time they log in and others dont.

 

Also on my hive log have loads of these errors.

If i create the banking_data manually it works but until then player deposit coin and lose it after relog.

Hi I can get the coin system its self working traders etc display coins to buy/sell etc but whenever I use a SC variant of a hiveext.dll from here I get a error saying "This server is running the incorrect version of the server side application, if you are staff of this server please contact epoch dev team" that appears when im trying to load in and get kicked back to the lobby I see a part of my loading screen (timer is missing) then it goes to lobby saying that.

But just by changing the hiveext.dll to the vanilla epoch i can load in fine but obviously no banking data saves to the mysql database.

 

EDIT:With souls dll the server console wont show it starting to retrieve information for the mysql database (the info in green text). And nothing is showing up in the rpt or hiveext logs.

 

if anybody can help i would appreciate it.

This problem occurred for me when replacing the hiveext.dll file. Check that you have placed the file in the correct location (I only know how to do it with Vilayer so I probably can't help you much).

 

 

after updating the file my trader doesnt option to trade anymore. only option to give money any1 else have this problem?

 

This is most likely something to do with fn_selfActions.sqf. If you've already got a custom fn_selfActions I would make a backup of it and replace it with the fresh copy from this download and see if that solves the problem.

Hello!  I would really appreciate some assistance, please.  I spent all afternoon installing the "Gold Coin based Single Currency & Banking System" by Zupa and then Soul's 2.2 version, but when I thought that I was finally done I uploaded everything and started up the server.  We were all stuck on "Waiting for Host".  I undid all of my changes and the server now starts up like it did before.

I fixed some things that I had missed, but currently I am stuck at this error:

ErrorMessage: File mpmissions\DayZ_Epoch_24.Napf\defines.hpp, line 45: .RscTextT: Member already defined.

 

This is line 45: #define ST_CENTER         0x02

This means there's somewhere a GUI file that already uses a classname with that name. Either find that file and delete that class (named RscTextT) or just open that same defines.hpp file and delete it from there.

Hi all im still getting the problem using souls custom hive dll and zupa 1.1 coins where the database doesnt load any information while using souls custom dll (variant 1) and my server will kick me back to the lobby saying 'This server is running the incorrect version bla bla bla...' but as soon as I replace it with the original epoch hiveext.dll provided with the server files it will let me load in fine and i can see all the banks etc but it of course wont save it to the database.

I'm sorry if this has already been answered, but is there any way to make this work with Zupa's coin system WITHOUT global bank?

for reference:

 

I don't want global banks, and this version of zupa's coin system matches exactly what I want to do. Can anybody please tell me how to make these new DLLs compatible with this? Thanks in advance.

 

(P.S.: I don't mind if I have to edit the database to be CAPABLE of a global bank, as long as it isn't actually implemented)

You want to use that hive to use with zsc 3.0?

I was hoping somebody could tell me what to do, or which DLL to use, since I am a noob regarding this stuff :D I can handle *most* of the ArmA scripting stuff, but I have no idea how to do the hive stuff without following explicit instructions. Even if you could just tell me what installation steps to skip/change, that'd be great.

 

 

 

EDIT:

I managed to get it working by simply swapping out the DLLs and running the last line in the SCDBQuery.sql (provided in the first type of github repository):

ALTER TABLE character_data ADD CashMoney int(11) NOT NULL DEFAULT 0 AFTER Infected;

I still get errors about a missing BankData table, but that doesn't impede gameplay whatsoever (I'm sure you could just add the table and be done with it to get rid of the error, but I don't care :P ). It also gives a warning that only 16 out of 17 parameters are passed when updating characters, but again, I don't care :D . If anything, it provides good reference of when character data is updated.

Hi Soul I originally installed Variant 3 so I could use base maintenance (make damage update in database) which it seems to do perfectly thank you for that.

I do have 2 issues if any body could shed some light on them please?

1. Players cash money is not updating- I have read through here to see some ppl are having the same issue but most ppl are not. Has anybody figured out what would cause this. I have triple checked all mergerd files and used diffmerge to merge existing files.

 

I get this in yellow on my server console when I withdraw money- Update of character 78 only had 16 parameters out of 17

 

2. the player HUD no longer appears.

 

Please help me someone.
