Are you sure it's not the new update ? I'm still running 0.5 and it works fine, others i play with updated and they said it's much slower, so much so they went back to DZC. They are both pulling the server list from the same location (web frame inside the application) so that would be very hard to determine why it would be slower in one vs the other. Maca would be best checking or explaining that, I will pass on the feedback to him see if there is anything for 0.7 that might improve things. Gamers Crowd Posted August 20, 2014 Report Share Posted August 20, 2014 Why is this showing my server is running Epoch 1.0.5 when it's running 1.0.5.1? You can't join with 1.0.5, it kicks you. However, if you install 1.0.5.1, it says you do not have 1.0.5 installed. Guest Posted August 22, 2014 Report Share Posted August 22, 2014 No worries Matt :) Dropped you a message on that server's forums last night, by this evening I'd started panicking at the prospect of having to write a THIRD bloody launcher myself :P Just tested 0.0.0.6 out here, browser is working perfectly thanks - I assume - to the new backend; obviously still has the crashes on Update/Launch Mods, but that's gonna require a client-side fix anyway. Also, in case your inbox is swamped at the other place, @Origins has been updated to 1.7.9, there's a new client-side torrent floating around I think, which would be useful to those of us running Taviana servers but with the Origins map, á la MGT. Duplicate mod folders taking up double the space needed 2. Players being tied to one launcher, should DZL support end, there'll be players who can't use other launchers due to their mod folders being incorrectly named Delete your porn collection , will be plenty of room left :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
