How do i start the game then? Quote from instalation tut: Launch steam, login. Download Arma 2. Download Arma 2 : Operation Arrowhead. Wait until they are complete. Finish the steps, then launch the server executable, and try connecting. Not sure you need XAMPP if you choose a dedicated mysql server though. You need to run both A2 & A2OA to inject the Steam Key (if bought through steam) so the game won;t think its a counterfeit copy. That error you got is a standard error as you do not have a display adapter in your dedicated server. You only run a2 and a2oa (client exe's) till you see that message as that injects the key into your registry. Also don't forget to then copy your Addons folder from your A2 directory into you A2OA\Expansion\ directory (making it then Combined operations) Then carry on and follow the step by step guide you are following.
