is this the only change to your awesome script ? 

so to update I would only need to add this ??  or should I replace the entire folder

If I wanted the trader dialog to show the classnames instead of the displayname, how would I go about that? It's just that some Skins have the same displayname and the classname is much more describing.

 

Btw: Trader works great, except the constant adding of map/watch/compass :D

player_switchModel.sqf ... should be around line 58, if you didnt already edit this file, add:

removeAllItems _newUnit;

and it will not add the toolbelt items anymore

Anyone else had an issue where if you die with one of the skins you can't pick your backpack up again?

 I am having this issue aswell.

 

It looks like the backpacks are either being deleted/aren't being saved when you die or aren't saving when you switch to the new skin.

I have noticed on my test server that the skins aren't saving over restarts of if they log any reason why? I have followed all the instructions. P.S sorry for the nooby questions

Instead of this in your custom variables.sqf

Thanks, I've got the overwatch skins saving so I'm going to try and do the same with the others to see if the normal arma skins will save for me.

 

Edit: It did'nt work, only got the added overwatch skins to save the others/originals don't, anyone got any ideas?

Okay, just tried this for the second time and got the following bugs:
 

1: Squad stuff in the chat. Things like "6: Regroup!" etc.

2: Players invisible in 3rd person mode.

(I didn't attempt to buy a skin, I was pressured by players and other Admins to quickly roll back to my backups.)

 

I used the variables file that calamity posted:

I'm not blaming him or anything, I'm simply suggesting this might be an older file and not not up to date with the original post, but I see now problems with it.

The only difference (I'm aware of) is that I moved the new trader to inside of an Admin Dome at Devil's Castle.

 

Let me know what else I can do to diagnose the problems. I have everything saved.

QUICK EDIT: We're on 112555 if that makes any difference. Anyone got the mod working on that ArmA 2 patch?

 

EDIT 2: Turns out, if I use my own variables file (not the one from an earlier poster) it works fine.

Some blanks in the vendor menu though

Works fine but about half of skins debug monitor dont see, when i use one of them, debug monitor dont count me as online player, same problem with missions and AI. Тhey dont see me same as debug monitor and i can kill all AI in missions without problems. Maybe i must to add those skins somewhere else as not banned or something???

Any reason for mine not to be working?

Got the cords from DB where I logged out. Made it xyz format. This is for Napf
