Mrthuglink
The title pretty much sums it up.I've been looking for ore veins for like three days.
fr1nk
Could be the server owner disabled them, or you just have bad luck.

fr1nk
Just to clarify, I'm not sure if there's actually a way to disable ore vein spawns. Could just be the max veins setting is set to 0: MaxMineVeins = 0;

salmidach
Nah nah @MrThugLink you should ask if this works on NAPF Because I explained you the thing with maxVeins Ok can someone enlighten me on the maxVeins thing then please?
Wesley
On Napf they are harder to find IMO, I typically find them in the southern half of the map, closer to the mountains!
FJack
I find them easier to spot at night with NV goggles since the rock is a dark tone with gold nuggets... they are really rare though. just look for something similar to a dinosaur turd with peanuts :)
Brutus
Veins are ramdomly placed by the server at each restart. Then they cant be at the same place at each restart. Your init got the maxvein ammount ( mission.pbo/init.sqf) You can also make some mapping and adding some more vein that will be always at the same place and will respawn at each restart exactly where you placed them But i guess by this way, the vein added by mapping script will count as 1 for each with your maximumvein ammount from your init.sqf PS: vein are allowed on each epoch map and from memory settled on 50 in epoch vanilla init.sqf Nemuri
