    BEC Bug after Last Update

Hey, after last Arma Update, BEC doesn´t work for my Epoch Servers. Did anybody had the same problem and con help me? Thanks Honey Bee
  2. Script from And I just made it 1 .bat file easy to use all you need to do is edit the Config settings section and the command line. Make a new .bat file on your desktop of your windows vps or dedi Paste this in it If you run multiple servers create a file for each server on your desktop all you have to do is change the command lines and the config settings to suit each server on each file. This script will re-run everything from this label :arma2oaserver every time the server cmd box is closed so yes if bec shuts down the server after x amount of hrs the script will backup your sql will re-start Bec & the Server If your server cmd box closes for some unknown reason this will terminate connection with Bec and so Bec shuts down but dont worry the script will backup your database then restart bec and your server (dont believe me try it run this script then close your server cmd box while this script is running and watch the magic lol)
  3. Hello! So, I am not experienced with big server setups like that of ArmA's (so don't expect me to be too computer-smart), but I have come a long way with setting up my ArmA 3 server until I got to my BEC setup. I've gone through everything the instructions say and everything should all be connected and working, but... I keep getting and error saying: BePath is not a valid directory Now, i know this should be a simple fix, but no matter what i do the error won't go away! I'm using TADST for my server setup, so I'm using the Battleye directory stored there. the path I put in the config.cfg for BEC is: C:\Users\andre\Desktop\Arma3_server_stuff\server_files\TADST\SirRapplez\BattlEye (yes I made sure I didn't have an accidental space put in anywhere... I'm not that stupid) I also put a BeServer.cfg file in the same directory as the BeServer.dll with the following: RConPassword password RConPort 2309 If anyone knows what my problem is, please help. I hope my question isn't super dumb, but I'm lost so, again, help would be much appreciated! Thanks.
  4. Hi all :-) I have noticed that my BEC restarts the whole time. Well it closes and my monitoring script starts it again if the process is running. Nothing in the logs why it is closing. I also see that on the website, the service has closed down. Am I the only one having this issue? Are there alternatives?

    BEC no valid response.

Hey all, got a pretty odd and serious issue. About 4 times now, during the middle of a session, BEC will spam "no valid response- trying to reconnect". The game server is still running and each individual can carry on playing the game, but nothing is being saved and each player can't see any other players actions if that makes sense. It's very weird Basiclly bec is screwing something up and doesn't appear to get fixed without restarting the entire dedi box. Even closing the arma server window and Bec, then using my restart Bat doesn't always fix it, I have to fully restart Windows on the dedi box. An even odder thing is, it just happened on one of my servers, but the other was fine. The main server had 20 ish people and I was also playing. I could tell something was wrong as dart lost connection on the main server, yet was fine on the other server. I checked on the dedi box and sure enough, Bec was spamming the message on the main server , yet I could still run around and was still being attacked by zombies, but no side chat was coming through and every other player was frozen. For them, they could still run around and every other player was frozen. Something is crashing or something and it's pretty much ruining my server as people get pissed off and leave, but I just don't know what's happening or why. Anyone had a similar issue? This isn't the usual Bec isn't working post, it has been working fine for 6 months, only in the last few weeks has this started happening.
  7. Hi, I'm trying to do a force save all on DB before the server restarts. The best situation is make Bec starts the save process 1 minute before restart. There is any way to make Bec run a server scipt? Thankyou!
  8. Hello, i made my own overpoch namalsk server and i installed BEC.. But i cant get it to work for one second. These are the problems that i am having: No server restart messages from the schedule show up in the server when playing, Server doesnt restart after 3 hours even tho its enables like to in the schedule.xml, My restart file launches all the correct applications but for some reason the restart wont bloody work!... I would really appreciate a decent fix to this issue! If this problem gets resolved i could pay the person a little bitcoin cash to show my gratitude! My item database (player item stuff) is running in Navicat with MySQL and my server is an actual pc and not a hosted one by a company.. My restart / start .bat file: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- @echo off echo Killing Process arma2oaserver.exe PING -n 6>nul echo. taskkill /f /im "arma2oaserver.exe" echo. echo Process arma2oaserver.exe Ended... echo. 9. hello, i got my own server but i'm having a bit of a trouble with getting my server to restart... Its my own server so there is no sql web hosting stuff related. Basically i installed BEC and it gave me a start.bat and a restart.bat in my main root. The start.bat starts my server up but doesnt do anything besides that.... It doesnt restart after 3 hours.. i put in a custom schedule.xml in the BEC config but it doesnt work either.. Do i need to add some kind of custom script or do i need to modify the start.bat file. I just want to use the start.bat and let my server run so that it will also just restart on its own. (the restart.bat doesnt do anything..). And because i cant restart... Theres a ton of vehicles in my server, when i tunr on enhanced esp in admin menu it shows me a crazy amount of spawned vehicles on the map! Is there an easy way of fixing this? I just want my server to spawn in a couple of boats and lada's thats all. The server is connected to Navicat with XAMPP. Currently running Overpoch Namalsk. I would really appreciate any help!

So after playing arma 2 epoch for a few 100+ hours i thought it was time to start my own server, its been going great so far no major issues, but you will probably see me around asking a few more questions. So on to my problem my scheduler in bec wont run at all, cant see messages and restart dont work either im using the one that comes with the bec install, im not too experienced with all of this also i dont get any errors in the logs. so basically my issue is all the bec messages come up right, exept for the repeated messages, im trying to get one message to repeat every 15 min or some time that can be edited. I want it to run every restart infinitely, also im trying to make the server lock with 5 minutes to restart to stop people from loading in right b4 restart #lock or some shit. I have been told multiple times by CEN, to do it a certain way but it isnt working, any help would be appreciated. http://pastebin.com/HpvRXefG
  14. Resolved What I did was replaced my Bec.exe and Bec.lib with ones that I found online. Which is Bec.exe V 1.608. As soon as I started the server ALL Scheduling Task loaded. Let the server run and the restart came and happened . The server restarted without a problem.
  15. I am running 2 servers on the same box a cherno and a atlis. Cherno is fine but every few restarts the atlis Bec just stops working and wont start the server back up after a restart if i keep cherno off there are no problems. Anyone have this issue and what did you do to fix it?

    BEC Not Recognizing Server

Okay so here is my issue. I have Epoch running on my dedicated server. I have one instance that runs just fine.. My bat file starts the server.. starts BEC.. it runs for 3 hours then the scheduler in BEC runs my restart bat... So I wanted to make a new instance...Which i did.. then I made a copy of my BEC folder.. renamed it..went in and changed everything to reflect the new instance... I run my server start bat.. server starts up fin.. waits the 30 sec time out... then starts BEC.. BEC sits there then says to make sure the server is running. Which it is and players can join... The console has no errors at all.. nor does the log. Please help.. thank yoU!! RP
  19. Hi, I have installed Bec on a private server and i can see that it runs, so when i connect to the server i can see that i am the super admin. but my scheduler.xml and commands.xml are not loading This is my Config.cfg
  20. i have got a problem connecting with the bercon.exe to our new epoch server. we do have another epoch 1.0.3 server running on the same machine(strato server) and the bercon is working with it. both use battleye extendended controls (bec), they have different ports and one is able join them. until now i couldnt find anything in the forums about a similar problem. the new epoch server seems to be working, except for the bercon issue. bec is connecting and the beserver.cfg and config files are in place. the schedular.xml is running too. battleye is up to date. bercon.exe: couldn`t connect to server bec error log: Error with encoding in queued data list! bec, config.cfg: schedular.xml: start.bat: bec guide: http://www.ibattle.org/install-and-configure i followed their instruction and double checked everything i could. did anyone experience issues like this and how would you try to solve these?
  21. is there a video or a place to learn how to put exceptions into your bec files. seems like anything i do to my server am i getting kicked for this or for that. no one seems to put the modifications to the filters in the instructions/ thread for them. i dont want to go all noob and be like give me the bec filters. i would like to actually learn what i need to look for and how to put them in on my own when i goto add something. Thanks Psy

    GTX servers setting up BEC

Im wondering if anyone else is renting a server from GTX and if so, if they know how to set up BEC. Im trying to set up and use the admin panel but keep getting kick because of not having BEC or something. Does anyone know if it is supposed to be set up on the setup of my server or if I have to install it myself. I tried uploading BEC.exe to the server and it said bec.exe access denied. so if im not allowed to set it up myself how do I do it. Thanks for the help

BEC running but not doing anything

I've gone through everything and in theory it should work fine as it starts up and runs fine but it doesn't restart the server or display any messages defined in Scheduler.xml
