  1. 1. The server you were playing on. Skaronator.com 2. What arma3 build and what Epoch build you are using. Arma3 1.30, newest Epochversion 3. What it was you were doing While Trading. 4. Is it repeatable. For some people, yes. I am basicly writing this bugreport for a friend, as it is working fine for me. But he has constant troubles with this issue: Everything works fine as long as he doesnt interact with the traders or trade with players. While the interaction, he gets a massive desyncrate, it seems that arma is sending more packets than usually, his Router seems to decide that this is a malicous connection and he looses connection. Its probably just a problem on his side (Fritzbox Router) but perhaps other people also ran into this problem. He goes around this issue with tethering his connection with his smartphone, doesnt occur there. It didnt get better with the the Arma 130 patch (which was aimed at connection performance from what ive heard.) Probably a bug that affects only certain routers, but he could play Altis Life just fine. (perhaps just his router being fucked up ;) ) Just wanted to let you know about that,
  2. Hi, Recently I created a Lingor 1.5 overpoch server And the first thing I noticed was that I really hated the layout of having the traders scattered around the place. An individual trader here, another one over there. A vehicle trader taking over the race track. So I created a trader city, and my clanmate Smooose created a seperate trader city these both use many of the existing traders, plus I have an additional overwatch weapons trader which has been added in.   3. Hi, after i sold/bought something at a trader and I relog somewhen after that it causes my char to partially rollback. I get my gear back which i sold, lose my crypto and lose the "hours alive" i've gotten after selling. Strangly, it still saves my position I had before reconnecting. This is really miserable because it makes it impossible to trade without the help of mates who can sell stuff for me. Am I the only one with this problem?

    Help with traders.

    Hi People. Have a couple questions about traders. Trying to figure they are setup. I am making a new trader city/station. What of I understand of it is that we are using DZE_ConfigTrader, because if we add items to traders we do that in a .hpp file. I have looked in the server_traders.sqf and tried to decipher it, and what i understand of it is that I have couple traders I can use for my trader city. Traders that are not used. For example there is 5 traders that sell Building Supplies, Toolbelt Items and Vehicle Parts But we only use three of them. Same with a lots of others ones. We are using the Chenaro map and mission 17. So my qustions is. In what file do I find where they are on the map, or does it go after the trader skin, for exemple Air Plane Dealer = "Soldier_Sniper_PMC"? Where do I find the spawn point for vehicles that you buy, or does that go after just a helipad? So if you make a vehicle trader and place a helipad next him the vehicles will spawn there? Can i combine diffrent trader menus from diffrent traders to make a new one? So I take the trader ID from two and make them to a new trader, will that work? Here is the diffrent traders in my server_traders.sqf. I have sorted the after Trader and then by Items they sell. And what are the files that has to do with the traders? I know of server_traders.sqf ond all of the -hpp files. Is there any more.

Quick and easy Gemstone Trade Epoch 1.0.4.2 ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ What is this? This is a very simple way to quickly allow players to sell Gemstones. It's nothing new or custom, in fact, most experienced modders are likely already aware of this method. It makes use of the same code that allows you to trade 1 Empty Whiskey Bottle for one 1 1oz Copper Bar. Why am I releasing this? Because it's nice to give back to people who spend time making awesome mods that I couldn't make myself. Also, when searching for a way to sell Gems my options were hacking files and code around or adding a new "Gems" category to the trader and inserting them to the database. Okay, fine, that does indeed work, but this also allows you to Buy the gems, which I didn't want or need. I finally stumbled upon this Empty Whiskey -> Copper Bar code and had a eureka moment. Limitations This method only checks your personal inventory, this means this method cannot be used to sell any primary or secondary weapons, including the Chainsaw (I tried). If it is possible, I've missed it completely. You cannot trade for multiple items. That is, trading one item, for two different items, you can however trade for multiple of the same item. E.g. Trade 1 Emerald for 4 Gold Bar - Possible! E.g. Trade 1 Emerald for 5 Gold Bar and 2 Silver Bar - Not Possible! How to make use of this method Start by extracting your server_traders.sqf from your mission.pbo and open the file in your text editor of choice. Look through the code and decide which trader you wish to use for the Gemstone Trade.   6. Good evening guys, the last day 45+ players played on our Server. The frames are realy nice, still 50+ .. No desyncs etc. But theres exactly one annoying thing, well better sayn two. My traders are extreme slow! (From the first minute after Restart on..) A car takes nearly one min to spawn in at the trader.. To open cars u need also a lot of time. What can i do against it? Heared sth. about config based trader ? What will that cause ? Think there's something wrong with the database. Does it need to restart sometimes ? Or is it okay to let it run 24/7..
  7. Hi everyone, This will be part of my 4 part post on final issues being worked out on my server before it is completed. I have added items to the hero traders (4 guns, 1 heli and 1 car) They can all be bought no problems however they cannot be sold? Specifically the M249 Saw, M110 NV and the M4A3 Acog GL. They show up can be bought just not sold and cannot figure out why. Can anyone please help? Regards, SG.

I have now a veteran trader in the spot of the old Bandit trader, since I have a PvP zone, there will be bandits, and I would like to add those bandits to Veteran trader too. So having a trader who can sell to Heroes with 25k or above of humanity AND Bandits with -10k or less humanity.   10. We had a player report and issue to us today regarding the BAF_L85A2_RIS_Holo gun, it could be bought for 9 10oz Gold Bars! but sold for 6 gold bars...... We fixed the trader price, but has anyone else noticed that? We have no edited our prices so its not a change we've made.

  12. I'm wanting to add some additional items to my traders. I have a good knowledge of SQL and how to add them via a query. The one thing that's holding me up is that I don't know what TID (Trader ID) to use when adding items. Most traders have multiple TIDs (i.e., Weapons Friendly - 485, 486, 489, 574, 487, 488) . How do I know which one to use when entering a new item?? Does it even matter?
  13. hello i m trying for server to fix the gems as a extra currency because the 12 fullbriefcases is not really much but the adding of the gems is not going liek i wanted to go. so well so this is my fist help topic. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- trader_data = server_traders = -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- endless loop buying even when not have the product in my gear - - - - - - - - - - - - - - and when i try to sell a gem it will not give the product sell back value Buying = infinite (even when you don't have the product) Sell = takes the product but not give back the sell value so the Question of today will be 1 how to fix those problems Greatz.   14. I recently updated a couple weeks ago to the Epoch update for one of my servers, however, one of the traders menus do not work. I was told the menu needed to be updated in the selfactions? Can anyone provide a rundown on this? Thank you
  15. Mornin guys, having soem issues getting the new ch53 to work for me. I'm running a dedicated server with Epoch 1.0.5.1 and Overwatch on it. Well,my only problem is (well it isnt really a problem but its a pitty that..) the CH53 doesnt spawn if people try to buy it. Spawning it in with my admin tools isnt working too. The rpt logs say: Thats all i found in the logs searchin for CH53. I had similar problems with the vodnik, but fixed them easily removing it out of the banned vehicles from the overwatch files.. Would be nice if someone knows what to do :-)
  16. The Trader will say its loading then it will just skip to a menu that's blank. This is one of the errors it gives me when trying to assess a shop. If u need to look at any files let me know and ill put it in here to look at. Please help.
  17. Hey guys, I created this excel spreadsheet a few weeks back to speed along the process of inserting all the Overwatch weapons into my database. Allows you to create mass SQL statements easily. Here is a screenshot: Once you're done, add this to the begginning of the statement: INSERT INTO `traders_data` (`item`,`qty`,`buy`,`sell`,`order`,`tid`,`afile`) VALUES YOU MUST REMOVE THE LAST COMMA FROM YOUR STATMENTS or you'll get an error.   19. I have been searching high and low. I have recently changed one of our servers to PVE. I want to change the bandit trader to "Super"hero trader? I have tried EVERY post in here and for what ever reason it just wont work.   20. Hello, I have been searching google for the proper way to add the guns that are in the overwatch part of overpoch, to the tradercities. I haven't been able to find anything helpful. I have overpoch installed and do not see an option to purchase overwatch guns in the trader cities. Any files you need me to attach or link I will be able to do. Thank you.

I am looking to make a massive trader type zone/dome that i will use to cover my "Sector B" like area, so players can still kill each other but I just don't want them building and I don't want them logging off in there. There will be 75 AI, 3 heli's and 2 big loot box prizes there, so players will try and cheat it 1400x1400m is about the size it will need to be Possible?
  22. After making a long journey to the nearest trader, I tried to buy supplies. I approached a trader and searched for an option to view the trader menu. The problem is that the option never showed up. I looked around, aiming at different spots on and around the trader, trying to find the option but it still didn't show up. I moved on to other traders. The second trader showed the option so I clicked the MMB. The trader menu showed up but quickly disappeared after a second. I don't know why these issues happened but I'm sure that my software (Arma 2, Arma 2 OA, DayZ, DayZ Epoch, etc.) were up to date. Also, I'm sure that my MMB is not broken because I could look into a car's gear.
  23. Hey all, I have been having a constant problem with trying to add items to traders on my server. I have tried adding weapons to hero and bandit traders, like m107, aswell as ammo, and then vehicles like jets and tanks. I have added items to traders before on old servers I hosted, so I am not a noob to doing this, but for some reason, When I add the data into the database, it all comes up in the SQL file, so I can't understand why it doesn't work in the server. What I have done: Enter in all the data into the MySQL database (I am using Navicat Lite) into the Trader_Data table, Trader_Items, and also created the Trader_TIDS for the vehicles and other items that don't fall into an existing category. Made sure that all Trader TIDS match my Servers trader instances. In game: In game when I go to the traders the normal tabs/categories load in the left hand menu. When I click on one of the default tabs with added in items (eg. Cinder blocks at stary), normal items load but none of the new ones. When I click on a new tab (eg. Jet planes at hero trader) it says loading items for a minuscule of a second then disappears with no items loaded. Very similar to the issues I experience a few days ago with traders not working at all.
  24. Hello, i've got problems getting the traders working.. Every time a normal player tries to open the trader window it closes instantly. For me (admin with infiSTAR it is working). Anyone knows what that could cause ? Need to get it working. My players want to trade again :D
  25. I would like help adding the qty of items to the trader dialog. I've installed. [Release] Epoch Trader Menu Dialogs http://opendayz.net/threads/release-epoch-trader-menu-dialogs.13041/ which was not working (I fixed it). And would now like to know how i would go about adding Items qty under the buy and sell price. and so would like to know the dialog.hpp works so i can revamp the entire look and feel of the trader menu.
