    you ever see a child draw something? everyone is like awww that's cute, great picture very nice!! you are talented little kid!  
     
    When you really thinking wtf is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mellow: , we are only being nice because we really like this kid, and if we are too honest it will upset alot of people like his parents for example! and that is what everyone who is left on the forum or playing epoch is! making the sapper spawn more often isn't the answer to making it epoch more of a threat kinda experience!! those creations lack creativity and imagination! sorry if it upsets some people but that's my opinion and i am sticking with it, we are in a time where animations standard is highly competitive and not just in gaming alone..the sapper looks out dated it makes zombies in A2 look good! 
     
    PS: this is a feedback from a player not a server admin! just thought I would point this out as it seems 90% of people left arguing the case of epoch are server admins and hardly play the game!

    lol i know that!!
     
    I am just wondering if any of those are building placement to fix the invisible objects on the map, something i thought about doing is placing a solid object on top of . I can create one of those myself in 2 mins. 
     
    I was just wondering why the random share and if there is fixes for the map which is why he shared this file.

    After re-reading the quote I forgot to mention that the latest hotfix has resolved most of the issues and in combination with 0.3.1 it's going pretty good, just the pop is still low with the other games out there in the limelight. Ark, dayz sa, rust updates, GTA V, ya know the normal gamers are gonna game while gaming is good.

    Sorry your return was less then expected.
    1.46 memory leak and crashing client fps drops to almost nil
    1.48 same memory leak and crashing with some more client fps drops and now graphical tearing...
    5 performance versions and a couple of hot fixes.

    Total of about 7 weeks, all of arma pop is down but should be back on the rise here soon.

    However on a better note, tons of new supported maps.
    the quality of the bunch is still here alive and kickin
    and the devs are still hard at work
    we just got 0.3.1

    Honestly if you want quick support stay away from Vert, the worse customer service , I haven't been with them a month, I am looking for alternative, very slow in replying to ticket, BEC breaks all the time, DB hosted somewhere else not on same box, its never ending battle,the only thing is i am not hosting arma 3 epoch , i am hosting dayz vanilla so I dont know if epoch a3 will be any better, I know I wont get another server from them..
     
    I wish xstreamgaming would offer servers they were the best..

    This is because you have two files in the @taviana mod that needs to be removed. 
     
    Do this both on the server and in your client files.
     
    An addition to help connecting players with the wrong mod files is to add 
    if(isClass(configFile >> "cfgPatches" >> "A3_emod")) then { "Attention - Very important!!" hintC "Please check your @Taviana\addons folder and remove any files called emod.pbo or emod.bisignkey. Otherwise you get kicked after ca 4 min in-game! :("; }; Some where appropriate in you mission file. It will execute if you have the emod files and alert an warning to the player.
     
    In the future please read the thread before asking something that probably occurs like 10 times in the thread.

    The beginning of Donkey Punch was fun, but those days have been over for a while.
    0.3 and my rebuild allowed for more customization and custom loot was removed with the ability now to modify the loot tables.
    Wasn't necessary anymore for ground loot.(oops build 9!)

    I did what the public wanted then and now its all about dat vision..

    I am not cool cool with it, but I would rather have arma 3 objects in arma 3 server, those ported objects are so damn buggy, take office building, firestations etc as an example.... I died countless times just walking down those stairs arma 3.
     
    6 types oh houses or buildings in general? If you are talking about houses and not all building types then that's about 3 or 4 more enter-able houses than there is in A2.
     
    I can think of at least 20 plus different building types... and just because Altis is designed the way it is doesn't mean there is less vegetation and no trees, at least those tress look more realistic than those that are shaped like a triangle object xmas trees...
     
    Arma 2 objects are good for arma 2, and Arma 3 objects for Arma 3; I really hope we see more genuine arma 3 maps that don't require arma 2 objects! AiA or Cup
     
    PS: the only thing that I dislike about Arma 3 is the rocks, they are so damn glitchy comparing to A2 ones.

    If you like a map then find a server playing that map or if you are an admin load that map up...
     
     
    I personally am looking forward to more Aram3 exclusive maps designed with the latest map building technologies and techniques/tools rather than beating the same old dead horse of Chernarus or Taviana ported over that was made many years ago with tools that do not have the features of today's map building applications.
     
    Those old ported maps have a great layout but the actual terrain doesn't do Arma3 any justice and make you look like you are playing in a slightly cartoon-ish environment.
     
     
    I look at Altis and I feel it more but ported maps I don't feel it
     
     
    If someone were to take the layout of those old maps and completely re-do them with a new map bulding application to have a more realistic terrain then they would breathe new life but that's a bit of work to be done.
     
     
    The Aurstralia map exclusively re-designed for Arma3 looks nice but I'm questionable if it's just too big.. Over twice the size of Sauerland.

    There are no winter objects to use, pointless putting snow on the ground when the buildings are still mediterranean, it would look odd.

    Honestly I probably won't ever do Namalsk.  There's too many bugs with it in Arma 3, the map really isn't big enough for more than 40 players and, while Namalsk does have a good apocalyptic feel, I don't think it's well suited to Epoch simply because the terrain doesn't support many buildable areas.  It would be good solely for PvP in my opinion.   If my community grows and we need a second server it's far more likely that we will do either Altis or some other yet to be released map.

    Here it is my personal feedback about this is ..........
     
    - Arma 3 is a lot better than Arma 2 - once you play it you can't go back.
    - Same time though epoch A2 (idea and features) are a lot better than epoch A3 - once you played A2 epoch you can't understand what A3 stands for ..... and I will explain more here...
     
    You fall in love with Arma 2 epoch for the base building but also for other features locking and unlocking vehicles with KEYS those little features gave you the feeling you truly own that vehicle, same with locking and unlocking buildings as little as they seem when you had them those are what I call core epoch features.....
     
     
    My biggest problem is that I find the whole clone , multi gun use, locking system, sappers, AI drones and energy gathering and use ideas off putting in A3 epoch..
     
    Personally right now I feel that if epoch A3 was a copy of A2 but with the graphics of A3 I would be very happy playing it all day long .... a copy of A2 with some added building and crafting would have been even better..
     
    I have only played about 10 minutes of epoch A3 in the last 3 months that was two night ago, reading the change log of the last update was enough to make me miss this current update.
     
    I know the next one promises more base building, and I am hopeful that It will spark an interest but I don't know if that's going to be enough with all the other features mentioned above still there, and the lack of epoch core features we got used to in A2.
