    It is a very complicated way to realize this script. The main point why it is so hard, is because the item like the food and all magazines and weapons a player can take in-game are just items and no objects. So you cannot set a variable on a single object like you can do it on a building, a vechicle or a player. To work around you have to set a variable on the player which saves what the player does and when with the items. Plus you have to save the state of the variables to the database.
    From my point of view it is not worth the effort and the performace impact that this script would have for only this small feature. You could add the backpack checking to the script above but the rest I would skip.

    Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the Epoch 1.0.7 Pre-Release with signed pbos and the needed server key. This will be in test until the 15th of April to make sure everything works correctly.
    Joining with the DayZ Launcher
    Download and install 7-zip from this website: https://7-zip.de/download.html Download the Epoch 1.0.7 Client Files from google drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Xx0wq8QJFG4AqeXquxMQADm8y73FYeYO If you have finished the download, unpack the Epoch 1.0.7 Client Files. You need at least 7,4 GB of disk space. Go into the folder where you have installed all your of Arma 2 OA DayZ mods. It depends on where the DayZ Launcher has set the path. Once you found the folder with your mods rename @DayZ_Epoch to @DayZ_Epoch_old. Copy and paste the downloaded and unpacked folder from 3. into the mods folder where you have renamed the Epoch Mod. Keep in mind you need at least 7,4 GB of disk space. There should be a folder with the name @DayZ_Epoch_old and @DayZ_Epoch now. Click on @DayZ_Epoch and check if there is a sub folder called addons. @DayZ_Epoch\addons. If there is another folder called @DayZ_Epoch copy everything from this folder into the root folder called @DayZ_Epoch. So it looks like: that @DayZ_Epoch\addons and not: @DayZ_Epoch@DayZ_Epoch\addons. You are ready to join an Epoch 1.0.7 Server now. Open the DayZ Launcher and join 94.130.68.169 - Offical DayZ Epoch 1.0.7 Pre-Release Version You will get a message that Epoch needs validating/updating. Click ok and ignore it. You can join the Test Server now. If you want to join any other Epoch non 1.0.7 server, just rename @DayZ_Epoch_old back to @DayZ_Epoch For Server Admins: You have to update to the new server files that coming with this Pre-Release update.

    Just want to go over a few things about our (WIP) custom support of Ryan's Zombies and Demons mod and thank Ryan for giving his blessing on our support of his fine mod.
    Please consider this a work in progress. 

    We are only using the Slow type animation set for the zombies right now. However, additional zombie animation types are available: https://github.com/EpochModTeam/EpochCore/blob/experimental/Sources/a3_epoch_configs/Configs/CfgVehicles/Antagonists.hpp#L784-L1003 (Slow,Crawler, Spider, Boss, Walker,Medium) the spawning classes are setup here: https://github.com/EpochModTeam/Epoch/blob/release/Sources/epoch_config/Configs/CfgEpochClient.hpp#L176
    Zombies will try to horde up on you and will generally kill you with raising your blood pressure and will make you more toxic. If you get to many zombies attacking blood pressure will kill you. Otherwise you may later die from toxicity and running a fever (high temp) and there are ways to reduce toxicity and your temp in game.

    Please share your feedback about our custom Epoch "Ryan" zombie implementation with us in this thread. 
    Additional Notes: 
    You must have Ryan's Zombies and Demons mod mod enabled on both server and client. Ryans Zombies support is disabled by default, you must set this variable ( https://github.com/EpochModTeam/Epoch/blob/release/Sources/epoch_config/Configs/CfgEpochClient.hpp#L28 ) to true and add "Ryanzombies" cfgPatches classname to your missions addOns[] array ( https://github.com/EpochModTeam/Epoch/blob/release/Sources/mpmissions/epoch.Tanoa/mission.sqm#L22-L25 ) to prevent players from joining without the mod enabled.

    okay my bad.
    here is the situation, from day one, I intended to make this script GNU GPL Free Software meaning anyone can see/modify/redistribute the source code.
    however, in the early days, I did not license it under GPL, instead distributed in obfuscated and minimized form until I clean up the code.
    now the code is cleaned up, licensed under GPL, source code made available, including all in line comments.
    the problem you are experiencing is because you downloaded an ancient (obfuscated) copy with crazy file names.
    the solution is downloading the latest (unobfuscated) version.
    I will update this post in a few minutes, will give you the correct latest download link and will also update the README. sorry for the trouble!

    Hello @Sneer they currently do not serve a purpose, for the epoch gamemode they will likely be used for crafting and/or trash loot and possibly other options later down the line.

    For the 'Frankie' experience you will definitely have to have the base game plus all dlc and the Expansion.
    On top of that as Kpabatok says you will require many community made mods to add to the official content, these are mostly freely available to all in the Arma community. You will find it extremely difficult to ever get on that one server due to how it is run; it is locked by a password that is given to only a 'favoured' few in the hosts community. 
    Frankie's videos are showcases for that community's current pet projects and are nothing to do with how most servers run or play, they are also exercises in storytelling in Frankie's own small way, so the staging and cinematic cuts add to the story but detract from 'real game play'.
    Enjoy Frankie's videos and look for a community run server that suits your needs, this will mean joining several different ones and testing them out for what you like. Hope you enjoy your Arma 3 journey!
