    FEATURES
    - Linux & Windows server compatible
    - Runs client-side through missionfile
    - Very easy configuration: just change a few numbers

    - You decide when warnings will be shown 

    INFO
    This light-weight script will automatically warn players when a restart is closing in. It uses BIS_fnc_typeText.
    It is fully customizable in terms of when the restart warnings are given and the schedule or interval.
    Just make sure that you put in the right configuration to match your server :)
    In case your were wondering: yes it does work with players that join after 1 or more warnings for a restart have been given.
     
    IMPORTANT
    If you own a version before version 02039_PATCH1 then you HAVE to upgrade.
    It fixes a big security leak in the script.

    NOTES
    This script DOES NOT restart your server. It only gives warnings depending on how you configured it to do so.

    ISSUES
    - bugged restarts warning times when using scheduled _restartMode. More details about that:
    the command missionStart when ran on the server should return [year,month,day,hour,minute,second] of when the server was started.
    But it does not do that. Instead, it returns some weird date back in 1970. This prevents the script from being able to check when the server was started.
    Which renders the whole idea of the script useless. This issue has been submitted to the ArmA 3 feedback tracker: http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=23373
    please upvote this post and ask anyone that wants to help to do the same. It will allow implementation of  working support for scheduled restarts into this script.
    news 30th March 2015: The issue has been confirmed by ArmA 3 Devs!

    WHAT IS THIS?
    This script is a very simple one-file installation which can be installed into the mission file.
    It will then show fully configurable credits to any player that gets ingame. If the player does not want to watch the whole thing, they can skip it using the scroll menu.
    The scroll action for skipping the intro will automatically remove itself after the credits are done showing.

    Hi everyone, this time I am posting a totally different topic.
    It is about the disrespect towards community scripters that is very well and alive in this huge community.
    What I mean with this is that there are TONS of people/admins/players in this community that just grab whatever script they can find and trash it into their server (Most of them do not even know how)
    and then EXPECT US (by us I mean the scripters) to FIX IT FOR THEM.... I mean like, where does that come from? Does the community think we are some sort of charity scripters?
     
    I am so tired of all that crap. Of course I am not scripting for money, but even the amount of thanks/credits/respect is to CRY ABOUT.
    At the moment of writing this, my continued version of VEMF has about 5000(!) views. And guess what? Only about 6(!!!!) different people replied by either saying thanks or some other respectful message.
    Think about that again! ONLY SIX OUT OF FIVE THOUSAND were respectful enough to say thanks or something else....
    To make it even worse; among those people that reply are usually people that reply with only: "uugghh It does not work" or "I have an error" or "Change that because it does not work on my server". Everytime I receive a message like that I get soooo pissed because it basically says: (excuse my French) "**** you and your script I do not care about all of that time you put into this I am just a selfish bastard that only cares about having the best scripts on my server and I give 0 ***** about the effort and time put into it. And if I have an issue I just post without even saying one word: THANKS."
     
    And that is what I mean by the disrespect towards community scripters. Pfeww that is out now. I feel much better already.
    The real reason why I am posting this though is that I want raise awareness of the fact that this is happening everyday and it is ruining all of the potential that can be achieved with EPOCH and ArmA.

    I'm currently getting the files split up for testing and first release.

    First version is exactly like it's called.....
    it will evolve a bit more with my next release.

    Been getting deeper into coding for arma with this one.

    I named this shit "Quick and Dirty Stats" for a reason.
    Remember all of this shit is a learning experience for me and I like to overcome hurdles as fast as possible.
    Sometimes with working as the admin/owner it takes away from my time to finish stuff but it definitely kills the train of thought when you are deep into something....

    However, on a better note.
    WHO HAS BEEN WAITING ON A HERO/BANDIT STATUS TYPE STAT?

    Well so far, Ive got Rank, Kills and Deaths working fine and tracking.
    Ive incorporated a quick and dirty GUI to go with it, but its attached to the statusbar currently.

    Well here we go, the stats at the bottom are true to player stats(was done for testing purposes) and now im into the GUI creation.

    Here is a screen shot to go with all this lovely news.

    Hey everybody just wanted to get this one off my chest and see how the rest of you feel.

    We all see the population roller coaster as the months have led on, with many different reasons as to why.

    Yes I will agree with the majority that are going to reply with "We need the performance fixed first".
    Well performance improvements will take time and with every Arma update there is more to do for performance so it in essence is a never ending battle for the devs.

    So to get back on point. When I first started Donkey Punch last year I was very excited to see what was in the game at that point.
    Content is usually a big concern for the players and I wanted to see what I could tease them with.
    Well sure enough I got to tease them with Safes and Keys, neither had any function at that time, but those items are for a topic on their own. :)

    I feel that content should be the basis of 0.4, flood us with the goodies that you guys have already stored away, let the public community work out what issues arise.
    Epoch has come a long way in terms of getting the community involved now with GitHub and we already see it going in the right direction in terms of helping out the devs.

    So lets get the entire community involved in the new content for the 0.4 milestone
    So what if items have no use at this time, its still more for them to play with and hell, let the owners play around with the usage for now.
    Just give us a blood bag and some antibiotics and we will make them work in game for our players until you guys can work em into the epoch code!

    Sorry for the rant but I felt this should be put out there to see the rest of the opinions.

    This is my first ever share through a topic.
    I know my menu looks a bit dull but its an early work in progress from someone that 8 months ago never started an Arma server, nor one that does not know any programming languages besides the one book my father gave me at 7years old, How to Program in BASIC. yep just BASIC....

    So I should start off with credits to ComputerMancer and Salutesh for their inspiration and scripts over the past 8 months.

    So based off of an Action Menu which has a few scroll options and maybe submenus for the player to utilize, I created the first version of Donkey Menu!

    This is a Hotkey Setup, which shit Thank you to MGM for the original info, Computermancer for working with MGM on the hotkey for your cmEarplugs script!

    I chose to use a basic looking GUI to start my venture.




    I then incorporated Computermancer's original possum script with a few extra touches.




    And of course everyone knows the suicide script.
    However here is my take on a crafting menu!!!!!!!




    Being of a hobbyist nature to this shit, I have fun doing it and don't mind sharing my work.
    This is fully working on Donkey Punch right now, but is in testing phase as well as being improved upon daily.
    I will be getting my GitHub account to start syncing my work and I will make it available as soon as possible.

    PS. another little treat I will be releasing soon too! Temp Groups



    Yep you read that right, Temp groups, read about it soon in my second Preview Post.

    will be testing out a surrender function that I wrote up trying to help out here:
    Havent tested it yet but if its a cool feature and works I will add it to the menu, possibly similar to the possum script adding in a stop surrender button GUI.

    if you add this to where the vehicle is spawned in the mission system, you can sell them for half price:
    _this setVariable["HSHALFPRICE",1,true]; i could possibly add a check to sell for full price aswell, but currently it is not possible to sell any "non-permament" vehicle for full price and if this is not added you will not be able to sell them at all.

    As I have it set up so players can buy and sell armed helis they find randomly spawned I needed to have it so the script didn't just run at server restart (selling an disarmed heli to a trader and buying it back again rearms it).
     
    I ended up using this, called from onPlayerRespawn.sqf:

    This is a good starting point: 
     
    You also need to add additional traders to your map file in a3_epoch_server_settings.pbo.
     
    Here is my altis.h file with some additional traders and a few other bits and pieces (this is just so you can see how it works, I'm not suggesting to use this on a live server)



     
    Start the server up and let the traders be created in the database. You then need to find the ID for each trader you added in the database so you can put the correct stock in the correct trader.
     
    You can then use the php file above as a starting point to populate the traders with static loot (per trader).
     
    Here is an example trader restock script I use (if you add custom vehicles like I have then you also need to add them to your loots.h file so they have a price:
