Banning Players.

As server owners would it acceptable for us to ban any we want? For example, player gets really annoying then just throws a fit. 

 

We put our time and effort into the server, would you say we have the right to basically do whatever we want on our server?

you certenly have the right. Doesn't mean it's the right thing to do.

 I would side with "no". Mainly because when you deal with players in an unjust way, it has consequences both in and outside of your server. For instance, if you treat one player in the past with leniency over one issue, but then come down hard upon another for something similar, people tend to react strongly to such injustices.

My opinion is that if you want to have absolute power and ban for whatever reason, that's your right as an owner, but you become a better admin and a better person by performing actions in the open, under the scrutiny of everyone. Because if you act fairly in the eyes of others, you send a message about your character. If you ban for no reason, and act rashly, then you send a very different message.

If you don't react to them they will soon get bored and either move on or stop it. If you fuel the fire it will bet bigger
