I've been playing Dayz Vanilla/Epoch for a little more than a year.  I've tried most of the popular maps, but for some reason never tried Napf...until a few days ago.   I have to agree with happysan, Chernarus can just sink into the ocean- after playing Napf, I wont miss it at all.   Just when I thought I was burning out on Dayz, this comes along and it's like a whole new game.

The cities and town layouts and buildings just feel way more natural than Chernarus.   Also having probably double (or triple?) the number of enterable buildings is awesome.   The terrain is WAY more interesting, and a good mix of all types.  The detail is unbelievable- from the huge cities to the little village in the middle of nowhere, you can tell a lot of time and care went into this map.  (especially considering its HUGE)

Lastly, I play with a friend whos computer is right on the edge of being able to run arma.  He had very low framerates in Chernarus.   Amazingly, he gets noticeably better framerates in Napf.  I cannot think of one downside to Napf.  If you like Chernarus, you will love Napf.

So yes, BIG thanks to momo and team for making the last map I'll ever need for Dayz!

I have to echo what treadd said. I've been playing DayZ mod for close to a couple of years now, with the vast majority of that time being spent on Chernarus.

I was mucking about in the editor a few days ago and loaded Napf, and had an extremely pleasant surprise. I like this map so much that I wiped my test server, installed Napf, recruited a couple of guys to look after my Chernarus server, and am now happily immersed on this amazing island.

I really can't say enough good things about it.

It's such a lush looking place, it's almost like playing an entirely new game. And to ice and already delicious cake, I'm getting significantly higher frame rates too.

Thank you for you amazing work. I am thoroughly re-enthused for DayZ! :)

Hi,

would like to say "thank you" as well. We gave it a try a couple of days ago and it works like a charme. It really gives some varity compared to the Cherno map. New buildings, other terrain, etc.

Again, big thx for the constant development on this very nice looking map!

Regards

Haze
